Hello,
I just wanted to point out that an scheduled topic appears as unread for the user that schedules it. That shouldn't be so. I mean, if I schedule 10 new topics to be published tomorrow, why should the person that schedules it have it appeared as "unread"? I am the user who scheduled it, I already read it. I don't want to see it as unread, it makes no sense 😞

Hello,
I've been working with Stripe for a long time and today is the first time that I receive an email from them. This message says there is trouble sending requests to a webhook associated with my account.
I've not touched/changed Stripe configuration since the first time I configured it. Today, I got the email attached. I am not sure what it means.
When the URL mentioned in the email is loaded, I will get an error. See attachment.
Should I worry about this? Is there any issue? As I said, I did not touch anything. The only thing I've done in the past months was updating IPS to the latest versions and changing the cron job to support PHP 8.0.

I read that the issues will not affect the new items added. That old items (word expansion) will not be fixed. Is the true? If that is so, I have hundreds if not thousands of abbreviations on the website that are affected.

mmmmm 😞 😞 😞 I am shocked... so I have hundreds if not thousands of items throughout the website because there are hundreds of posts with those expanded tooltips. You mean that all those won't be fixed? It means that thousands of issues will still be there? 😞
Does it mean I will have to edit dozens of products descriptions, topics, etc? 😞

Jim, I installed the patch but I still see the same issues throughout the community and in ACP's products descriptions.

I'm running the last version v4.7.5. I just checked for new updates and there is nothing new available. I should be running the latest one.

I am also having similar issues. I see the underline dotter line under many words that should NOT be there. I have many case sensitive words and I can see lower case single characters in the middle of a bigger word recognized as a tooltip.
I am using sometimes a single character in uppercase like M. or LL for something else.
Nobody writes W alone, I use it as an acronym for monthly. Set as case sensitive. You can see the word expansion detects lowercase characters inside entire words 😞 it makes no sense.

I would like to suggest a feature that will let us see the last comment in the pinned topics is displayed instead of the first comment.
There is something VERY annoying with how pinned topics. The data displayed in the streams and list of topics DOES NOT correspond with the LAST comment made in the topic. It's annoying because my community focused on the last topics updates. So as a user who sees the PINNED topics, you want to see the latest comment, not the original ones made like 2 years ago 😞

I believe it would a good idea if it were possible to add the alert system to the reported content? Members report something wrong with a topic. The report is solved but alerting him with a custom message about what was done with the report would be great.

I have users that belong to two user groups (primary and secondary) and NONE of them have any permissions to POST/COMMENT in any forum. Still, the POST NEW TOPIC button appears at the top.
How can I hide that button? I can't see why it keeps on appearing if the user groups are not allowed to POST/COMMENT anywhere on the site. I double checked both user groups and they can't comment/reply/answer anywhere.

From what you've written your problem are not secondary groups. Rather in your situation you'd need an option to NOT show the menu item if the user has certain groups.
With such option you could setup the menu items in this way:
- Show BUY PRODUCT#1 LINK if the user has the MEMBER group and does NOT have the group PRODUCT#1.
- Show PRODUCT#1 PURCHASED LINK if the user has the group PRODUCT#1.
It shouldn't be that hard to make a modification for it, but for now I'll add it to my todo list since I'm a bit busy with other modifications. 🤔

However, I don't understand how I could do what you suggest in the menu builder.
Basically, because I can't any IF THEN, or AND/OR option in the menu manager. The menu item is either shown or hidden to the selected group. There is no option to show/hide a menu IF the user belongs to another group 😞

I want to suggest a much-needed feature allowing us to display new main menu entries BASED on secondary groups.
Currently, the software only allows you to display the menu options to the primary groups. However, when the community is used to offering several different products, secondary groups are a MUST. As of now, it's IMPOSSIBLE to choose a custom secondary group; we are forced to select a group from the list (see screenshot) but unable to display the menu entry based on primary/secondary groups.
For this reason, when a new user purchases one of the many products in my community, I CANNOT show a specific menu entry because a new user will always belong to:
- Primary group = member
- Secondary group = ProductX
Imagine I want to show a menu option to the user who purchased ProductX? I can't 😞 It's impossible. ACP let us create primary and secondary groups, but we can't display information in the main navigation based on secondary groups.
Imagine userX buys PRODUCT 1:
- UserX added to primary group = member
- UserX added to secondary group = Product1
An email is sent to him with the purchase and how to access the information, but sometimes the email will land in the spam folder.
- I want a primary group = member to SEE the Buy Product1 in the main navigation. Once he purchases the product, his user is added to the secondary group = Product1
- However, since he will always belong to the primary group = member, HE WILL ALWAYS SEE the BUY COURSE, but he already purchased the course 😞
This is a big problem. We can create complex menu navigation, but the menu manager will NOT support secondary groups. That forces the users to see information they SHOULD not see.
For instance:
- UserX purchased product1. He should NOT see BUY Product1 in the list of products in the Menu because he already purchased it 😞
How can we tackle this problem? Secondary groups are not supported in many other areas and I was wondering why. If a secondary group is an option (ACP supports it), shouldn't secondary groups BE AVAILABLE as an option EVERYWHERE in ACP?

Thanks so much. The thing is that when cloning s customized tag, it should let you change the name of the tag.
Now, when a customised tag is edited, it's not possible to change the tag itself.

I would like to suggest a simple new feature to the excellent Radical Tags extension you've created.
Is it possible to add the possibility to CLONE/DUPLICATE a customized tag? I am constantly adding new tags with different colours, and most of the time, the settings are the same. Having the CLONE function would help SO MUCH.As of now, it's only possible to EDIT and DELETE. The CLONE option would be awesome.

Well, if I am the person writing the topic, then it means that I've ALREADY read it. Its status should be read for the user that schedules the topic. Unless the user can write without reading what he writes 🙂
