    This is the issue here in your understanding. To clarify
    The statement there is somewhat incorrect. A restricted moderator who is given access to the ACP "Is" an admin. By definition an administrator is a member who has been granted access to the admin CP in any way. The way permissions work are as pointed out above
    So a member can be BOTH an admin, and a moderator. In fact technically an administrator could have no moderation capability on the front end if you really wanted (not that there would be much point in this)

    You can post the display name or user ID here. We do not need access information as we are on cloud. We just need to review the permissions.
    I have disabled my messages.

    You are mixing up the terms here. If they can login into ACP they are restricted admins rather than restricted moderators. 🙄

    Admins = Admin CP
    Moderators = Front End

    Could you please provide an exact example of what a particular user is attempting to do to another user and where they are doing? We can then review your settings and let you know if it is intended or not. We are still lacking who/what/when/where so answering your question about inconsistency or resolving it is not possible.

    If you allow your moderators to warn other staff members or flag them as a spammer then they would be able to potentially ban them, again if you allow that via warning or flag as spammer.
    However, access to the ACP should only be given to those who need it and you all out trust. Not every staff member. Anyone in the ACP can ban anyone (except themselves).

    Anyone who has access to the admin CP is a restricted admin, not a restricted moderator. Only trusted users should be given access to the admin CP. Anyone with access to the members section in the admin CP can indeed ban any members, including other admin
    Essentially, you are asking how to prevent people who you have given access to your safe, how to prevent them taking your money. The answer is, dont give them access to your safe.

    Hi Guys

    Just noticed this IP address being obfuscated post upgrade.

    is this caused by my AVG on my laptop or is it an invision thing? Not seen it on any other members

    Cheers

    It is not common for us to give our software away for free, after all, we are a for-profit business 🙂 .  None-the-less, you're more than welcome to ask sales. You may get a nice, fluffy hug from Charles (which may be better than the software 🤣).

    The best place to discuss this would be with the Accounts & Billing team via the Contact Us form.
    https://invisioncommunity.com/contact-us/
    They would be able to help answer that for you and discuss if the specific use case would qualify for some "good will".  🙂  Personally I think supporting the vodka drinking homeless is a worthwhile cause...

    There are no emoji packs available from ourselves, other than what is preinstalled. As far as marketplace is concerned, there may well be people who provide these, you would have to take a look through the providers list.
    In terms of removing, there is no way in which to do this. Those are not emoticons, but rather standard emojis which are available on most devices natively

    Will Invision decide to support Open ID Connect? This is super important and should be a standard.

    Thanks Marc.
    It looks like the issue has now been resolved and access to admin and all areas of hosted sites are easily acessable.
    Thanks

    You didn't get it. Any clickable urls in the profile, added by the owner, should be hidden on mark as spammer. That would be awesome then.

    This is something you would need to ask the author of that custom application. We are unable to provide any guarantee on 3rd party applications.

    As of right now it's a FontAwesome icon, but you can manually change it to the currency of your choice by editing the core/global/plugins/tipAuthor  and core/global/plugins/tipAuthorSettingsLink.
    I hope to have an option to change the icon in the next update.

    So you'd like any link to be accepted, not just paypal links?

    I appreciate your concern about the moving the column, but I highly doubt that the columns I've added will ever bog down the system.
    If you think otherwise, please elaborate on your statement a bit more. I know there really isn't a place to add custom fields for any given plugin, that's why I've added them to the core_members table.
