  1. Jim M's post in Blank pages was marked as the answer
PHP 8.1 is not yet fully supported, please downgrade to PHP 8.0. You may also wish to disable zlib if you have an issues still.
  2. Jim M's post in Freely change the permalink structure? was marked as the answer
I'm afraid, this would not be possible as the "2" is what actually finds the record in the URL structure there.
  3. Jim M's post in Discussion board for Moderators and Pro-Members was marked as the answer
For more on permissions for member groups, please see the following guide:

  4. Jim M's post in Need to change the domain name my IPS software is licensed to was marked as the answer
As @Bethanyrayne mentioned, you can change your license URL in the Client Area. For more info, please read: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/client-services/license-keys-urls-r344/
A current license is required to change the license URL.
  5. Jim M's post in URL Change was marked as the answer
As you are a cloud customer, you can submit a ticket/domain change in the Client Area as Adriano mentioned but I have moved this to a ticket to support you. Please look for an email in your inbox on the address you have on file with us for further communication.
  6. Jim M's post in Server Access with Cloud Account was marked as the answer
Sorry, we do not provide access to our servers or direct access to our storage buckets. You could potentially setup your own Amazon S3 bucket for this purpose if you desire for your community.
  7. Jim M's post in Deactivate IP-Loggin? was marked as the answer
You can prune certain IP addresses in the system by going to the ACP -> in the quick search, type "ip address" -> both "Posting" and "Profile" pages have the ability to prune these according to a timeline. However, IP address collecting as a whole is unable to be deactivated at this time.
  8. Jim M's post in JPGs always pasted as PNG files was marked as the answer
You likely would not be able to post any images which come from PNG as the software is being passed a PNG image.
  9. Jim M's post in PHP code in ads custom HTML was marked as the answer
Unfortunately, it is not possible to use PHP code in the advertisement module. The HTML code will not process it or template code. You could utilize a Pages custom block to execute PHP code but it would not be a part of the advertisement module.
  10. Jim M's post in Names of downloadable files not showing was marked as the answer
When an MP3 file is uploaded, we would provide the MP3 player to play the audio in the browser. What is displayed is your browser's audio player there.
  11. Jim M's post in Allow guests to open support tickets? was marked as the answer
Sorry, this currently is not a feature. However, you can allow guests to use the Contact Us form and have that delivered to a support department.
  12. Jim M's post in Pages ... How can I display 10 pages? was marked as the answer
This would require use of the Database system rather than making a static page. You would want to read the guide I posted above. Here is a walk-through of a simple tutorial of using a Database to create a "recipe section" as an example:

  13. Jim M's post in What is the default text variable for the body text of a topic? was marked as the answer
Medium text controls the body of content in topics, etc...
  14. Jim M's post in Potential Security Issue, who do I contact? was marked as the answer
I have created a ticket for you to reply back with any private information which you wish to pass on to us from this. You should have received an email to the address on file for your account.
  15. Jim M's post in Cannot edit Topics created via Pages App. was marked as the answer
What are you looking to edit exactly? It would be advised to update the Pages Database entry then re-sync the changes. This is intended functionality to not be able to edit directly.
  16. Jim M's post in user comment permissions on articles was marked as the answer
For Pages Databases, the permissions would be set in ACP -> Pages -> Databases -> on your database, click the down arrow -> Permissions.
Please note that if you are using Post Before Registration Guests will be able to post in areas that your base member group can post in. However, it will not show until the user has registered completely.
  17. Jim M's post in Guest with Blocked IP Can Still Use Report Post Feature was marked as the answer
I would suggest not allowing guests to report content as it is a way for it to be abused by anyone. The ban filter in the software is really for registration and login. If you need to block individuals from your community, I'd advise blocking them on your server or network.
  18. Jim M's post in How to add PayPal to Stored Payment Methods to pay IPS renewal was marked as the answer
Sorry, we currently do not allow automatic payment through PayPal. PayPal can be used to manually pay invoices but only credit cards can be stored on file for automatic payment.
  19. Jim M's post in licence was marked as the answer
Please be aware that the software can only function with 1 URL per installation (i.e. you can't have 2 URLs pointed to the same installation and it functioning at both).
If you are keeping the current license at the same URL and want to setup a new installation at a new URL, you would need to purchase a new license to run that new community at.
  20. Jim M's post in Non InnoDB tables? was marked as the answer
The conversion from MyISAM to InnoDB is not something which the software can do.
If you are uncomfortable performing this, you will need to have your hosting provider (or a server administrator) convert your tables from MyISAM to InnoDB. Please ensure that they take a backup prior to doing so in case something goes wrong 🙂 .
  21. Jim M's post in Club Menu - possible to have dropdown sub-items in a Club menu? was marked as the answer
Sorry, there are no means to perform what you're mentioning here in the Clubs menu itself. It is a very static linear menu system at this time. I would suggest posting this in our Feature Suggestion forum if you would like to see this changed.
  22. Jim M's post in Template core error - not sure how to fix this! was marked as the answer
As mentioned in your ticket, these template errors are due to a third party plugin you're using to integrate members in your WordPress instance. It is moving them to a group which does not exist and thus creating issues when attempting to load data about them and that group. You will need to resolve this at the plugin level with the WordPress integration to resolve this issue. We could move these users but when they login again, the plugin likely would move them back so any effort on our end will just cause you running into the issue again so this needs to be solve at the plugin/WordPress level.
  23. Jim M's post in How do I backup my forum? was marked as the answer
You should have received an email a few months ago about support being moved from tickets to in our community here. It is fully staffed by the same individuals and you will receive the same level of support, etc... If needed, our team can still escalate or move your response elsewhere if required.
As you are a self-hosted customer, please contact your hosting provider for assistance in backing up your community. They will have the best, most efficient manner in doing a full back of your files and database.
  24. Jim M's post in Theme incompatibility for upgrading to 4.6.11 was marked as the answer
This is simply a warning to say that this file has been modified and our system is going to overwrite it. Core CSS files cannot be modified and will be overwritten between upgrades. If you're OK with that, you can proceed. If you are not then you will want to move your CSS edits to your own custom.css file as this is where customizations belong for CSS.
  25. Jim M's post in Fatal Error in Requests.php was marked as the answer
Please ensure that your server is compatible with the latest release if you're attempting an upgrade:
