TAMAN reacted to Lindy in Twenty years of Invision Community
Couldn't have done it without you. I'd have more hair though. 😎🥰

TAMAN reacted to Matt in Twenty years of Invision Community
The short version is that I built another platform called Ikonboard, got overwhelmed, sold it to someone who made promises and then broke those promises. This someone had also bought something Charles built. Charles and I decided it was time to move on so started "IBForums/Invision Power Services" together. From that time, I think only Rikki was involved in Ikonboard although most of the team have been with is for 10-15+ years.

TAMAN got a reaction from Matt in Twenty years of Invision Community
Not so long ago I was googling best Forum scripts, and IP board 3 was on its early versions when I bought it, I had never heard of IP board and I was using phpBB for a gaming clan 😄

TAMAN reacted to Joel R in Team Talk: Who is your celebrity look-alike?
Clearly IPS is the hottest cast to never hit the Hollywood Reporter.
Also, I dont think we can take @Matt sertiously ever again while he wears a Krispy Kreme hat (their donuts are delicious though).

TAMAN reacted to Matt in New: Reactions
We encoded the binary image data for the heart icon across all the IPS4.2 source files so it really can never be changed. It took a long time, but we felt it was worth it.

TAMAN reacted to Charles in New: Reactions
We hardcoded so you can never change the icon. You must use the heart forever. It is a steadfast requirement. There are no settings to change it. If you try your site will delete.

TAMAN reacted to opentype in New: Letter Profile Photos
Yes, the shifted appearance is CAUSED by the font itself, but the way to work around this is through settings – but there are none yet.

TAMAN reacted to HeadStand in Introducing our new Developers area
Nice start.
One major area missing is documentation for JavaScript. The JS is one area that you (or at least I) can't easily figure out just by reading the code.
It would also be nice if developers could comment on the documentation.

Thanks.
