Hi @Mike John I have upgraded to 4.2 and updated to application to 2.5.0. I am using only PM and email welcome.  

Here are my findings

• When normal registration used ( Using Quick Register + Profile Completion ) after email adress is verified, only email is sent to the user. No PM is sent ( in both  cases, System PM On and Off )
• When Facebook registration is used nothing is sent to user .

Yes I remember that. I had not updated since 3.1.8 and realised several versions were released. Thought it should be close.

@Martin A. when is commenting and scoring will be available for marks ? I had asked and you had told it would be available in coming versions  

That is fine . I am sure @Mike John will be releasing it as soon as he can.. I just wondered if the current version caused too much trouble on 4.2 Gold .

Seems I rather wait for the release..

Has anyone tested this on 4.2 Gold ? I seem to wait for this plugin to be updated to upgrade to 4.2

So we can use 2 blocks one under the other. On top  a 2 entry block with 2 pinned record and under that the rest.. Very good idea, will try that

which would separate the entries through commas. 

You are right,, a comma at the end and a space did the trick..

I have upgraded my test site to 4.2 Gold, Theme compatible with 4.2 and uploaded SuperGrid 2.2 but when I enable Show byline, the date is displayed next to Page Record Category as follows.

Upgrade on 4.2 test site is succesful. Should this version only be applied to 4.2 sites or can we upgrade 4.1 sites too?

Unpack the *.tar file, and manually upload it to /applications/. Then go yo <site url>/admin/upgrade to start the upgrade process. Haven't tried this personally, but that should work.

@Martin A. I was testing PHP 7.1 and realised that member profile links were causing HTTP 500 on my test site. We found out that membermap 3.1.7 was the cause and upgraded to latest version. Now trying to upgrade the production site but getting following error. I think uninstalling will cause all markers to be deleted so not going that way. What can be done ?

Just one more idea. I dont know if it is possible but I realised that when opened from mobile devices we dont have any option or a link  to open the marker in an application like Google Maps. If we could, it could be easier to navigate to that point.

May be a link for Google Maps inside the marker information , under coordinates would be great  

And for the comment and rating, not a System wide but marker group wide option would be great.

@Martin A. is there any plan for ;

• Comment section for markers
• Rating for markers

Why am I asking ? I have created two marker groups for Authorised and Custom Repairers for cars. I wish the users could comment how good or bad the repairer is and they could rate it.

@Martin A. I have upgraded from 3.1.5  to 3.1.7 and I can not see my Members marker group where there are almost 75 markers. Permissions not changed. I can see my second marker group that I have created but not Members

@MeMaBlue have you tried the following one ?

UPDATE forums_topics SET title_seo='';

And if you can, can you check if the title_seo field in your database forums_topics table is empty or not ..

I remember us discussing to use block templates for database records previously to be able to display other blocks on front page. I hope you can make an addition for next releases.

@opentype , I am using the templates submitted in following post by simply adding a custom block in home page. Can this template be used the same way on home page ?

Since the table names require the prefix you have defined ( if any ) during setup, the complete list can not be given. But if you have it 3 queries were enough for my site.

Set the language in admin

and went back to the homepage, but nothing changed...

I believe that is cause  URL SEO srings are not cleared. For a quick test just edit the title of a topic and see if the URL is changed

I'm not sure what you mean by bound to users. Users can create a marker in a custom group. For example, in your custom group Private Service Points I could add my favorite neighborhood mechanic, adding their phone number or web site or photo of their shop or whatever. The pin would display with the name I gave it (the name of the shop) and display the information I provide. It is bound to me in the sense that I created it and browsing the list of custom markers (as a database) will show me as the creator.  As admin you can edit/delete everything.

Feature request  I would like to see a feed widget available to insert filtered (and sorted by defined criteria) marker lists.

@bradl after reading you Show Venues question I want to ask , can we have markers that are not bind to users ?  Why I am asking is that I run a car forum and as you can imagine most of the users are owners. That would be great If I could have 2 more marker groups like "Authorized Service Points" , "Private Service Points" which users could easily and directly point the nearest service points

If you enable this now, this is what happens when a member updates their profile field. And you'll have the option to enable a task to import all members.

3. A mismatch is possible, but I haven't seen any major ones yet. Of course you'll run into issues when cities in different countries have the same name. 
Names with special characters are probably accounted for, click the link above and give it a try.

Martin thanks for clarifications but I dont have any option to change icon in group setting. There is only a setting for color change
