    I'm disappointed nobody actually used #hastagtical #hashtagsfordays #justiceforhashtags #hashtageverything Ya'll need to up your hashtagging skills! 😀
  3. Tagging @Daniel F, he's talked about a 'tour' before. The difficulty with these kinds of systems is that every community is different. You may launch with the forums, but another community may launch with a custom homepage. I think the best thing you can do within the ecosystem are things like a slider, profile completion, or info boxes that only show to new registrants.
  4. You can request additional features in hsi support topic.
  5. The oAuth 2 integration in Invision Community doesn't include syncing of any sort. You could potentially check out wordPress SSO by @stoo2000 in the IPS Marketplace to see if he can sync profile pictures.

Make side you don't have adblock turned on your own browser! (Or test in incognito mode)
  7. There are no settings in IPS, but there are some applications in the Marketplace that can adjust Our Picks. One of them is by @Fosters
  8. Hi, this is unfortunately not possible in Pages but it's been requested a couple of times before. Tagging @opentype to see if he has any suggestions.
  9. Hi @ghinton Can you verify the name of the file at the source location? When I tested, it was pulling in the source location filename. If it's still not working, then please send in a support ticket.
  10. Unfortunately the text wrap only works for images. You are welcome to request in Feedback Forum for future consideration.
  11. Yes, there should be an option to 'Follow' the category or individual articles within the category. There's also a Marketplace file to force all new members to auto-follow certain content. You'll need to do your own investigation to see if it's appropriate for you.
  12. If you don't have any categories in Downloads, then the Downloads index will be the list view. Please submit a support ticket. Also, check that your Module Permission allows guests (ACP > System > Applications, then click on the 'lock' icon for permissions for the entire module) Do you have a screenshot that you can share?

What version of IPS are you using? If you're able to reliably reproduce the issue, then please submit a ticket that can duplicate the double posting.

One trick to not look like a ghost town: Instead of using the block for Online Users, use the Members block. Show the last X users, sorted by Last Activity. Then simply name the block as Online Users or Recent Members or whatever you want.

@rebraf is as close as you will get to a Tier 3 IPS developer in the IPS Marketplace, so you can consider his files to be on par with core development.

IPS already contains a Member Overview via the Leaderboard > Top Members. (The Leaderboard - and all of its sub-sections - is probably not talked about enough as it's a very powerful source of information and trends across multiple aspects of the community: time, content, and members). You can link to the Top Members tab via https://invisioncommunity.com/topmembers/
  17. You have a couple of approaches: Many communities simply create a "Trash Bin" board with restricted permissions, and let their moderators move topics into the board. That would be the strongest method of ensuring you still retain the content. You would simply setup permissions so only you and your moderators have access to that board. You can configure Delayed Delete. This is related to the permission 'Can Manage All Deleted Content', which is a tab in the ModeratorCP. Read more about the feature here: https://invisioncommunity.com/news/product-updates/new-delayed-deletes-r1001/

As @Fosters stated above, you can keep the Forums as your default homepage. Many clients keep Forums as their main application with Page databases as a reference database.
  19. Attachments are considered part of the content, so there's no separate permission. You can request a plugin in Customization Request. You can also see if this Marketplace file might be appropriate for you by @Adriano Faria:
  20. Hi @Ford Focus Owners Club congrats on becoming the new forum owner! 1. Do you have IPS Cloud or your own cloud? If IPS cloud, then send in a support ticket and they can assist. 2. You may want to reach out to some users on the Providers page who can help you migrate over. They're not affiliated with IPS but many of them have years of experience with the software and server migrations. You can check out users like @ASTRAPI @Makoto or @Spanner who can help you not only move over, but also upgrade to 4.4.
  21. Yes, absolutely it can. IPS supports Amazon Web Services (AWS) for storage and delivery. Keep in mind that you will incur incidental costs for storage, bandwidth, and potentially CDN delivery. Guide: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/advanced-options/server-management/configuring-amazon-s3-r230/
  22. As far as I'm aware, no Marketplace plugin. You can request in Customization Requests. Just curious, can you explain what's the benefit of opening all links in a topic? Are you using topics as a reference list of some sort?
  23. There are enhancements coming in Invision Community 4.5 that can help you design a homepage. You will need the Pages application:
  24. Please ask in the support topic of the Marketplace app. This is definitely not core, any trophies or awards are going to be a third-party app.
  25. No, they're unfortunately listed in the order in which they were created. You would need to relist the tags
