  1. Hi @HeadStand I've just bought your app. We currently run a newsletter using a different software, and we want to integrate our newsletter functionality to IPS, so I guess your app is the right choice. But I am having a hard time to understand its logic. It seems it was created based on the fact that the newsletters would be things like list of stuff already published on our website/forums. However, in our case, we run a newsletter with additional news (and ads) not found at our main website. So I am having trouble understanding your app's main logic. It seems we need to create a "Newsletter" and then an "issue" for that newsletter everytime we want to send out a newsletter. As in our case the content of each issue is custom with no relation with the contents of our website, we need to have a WYSIWYG editor to add the text and format it, but I can't find this functionatily. There is a way to add a "custom template" for each issue, but that requires HTML editing. Anyway, I guess my question is: how do I create custom newsletters with custom contents with no relationship with the contents of my website and with a WYSIWYG editor so I can add images and format the text. I am also struggling to understand the peridiocity configuration as in our case, as each issue is unique and doesn't pull data from the database, what will happen. Another thing, and this is more of a suggestion, is that here in our company another person currently runs the newsletter, and this person doesn't have access to the ACP. It would be great if an admin had a way to configure everything and add who could send out newsletters, and this person would only have access to the basics to send the newsletter, and not all the hardcore settings. This would lower the chances of a non-technical user messing things up. I have many other questions, but let me just figure out the basics first! Thank you in advance, Gabriel.
  2. @David.. From what I understood, Google Site Search (GSS) will be shut down, not CSE.
  3. @crmarks is correct. CSE will continue to exist: http://fortune.com/2017/02/21/google-site-search-discontinued/
  4. Yep, working 100% with the new version.
  5. @DawPi Any news on this? It's been more than 45 days.
  6. @A Zayed Working fine now. It seems it was a bug on 4.1.19 that was corrected on 4.1.19.1. Thanks for double-checking this for us.
  7. Many thanks, @Adriano Faria! I didn't expect you to add this so fast!
  8. @Adriano Faria Hum... That is a problem for us as we don't want moderators to be able to delete contents, so we wouldn't want to enable this permission. So, as a suggestion, for a future release, to add a separate permission for that. No rush, I know that you spent more time than you normally spend on this app. Thanks for the explanation and keep up with the good work.
  9. @Adriano Faria Thanks once again for the continuous improvement of this fantastic app. One question. How to I configure so that our moderators can exclude users' data? For example, a user failed a quiz because he opened another browser window, so we need to "exclude user data" for that quiz. However, I can't find the permission setting for this to allow moderators to be able to do that. Thanks!
  10. @A Zayed After upgrading to 4.1.19, the dropdowns are not working. See screenshot. Thank you in advance.
  11. What are you talking about? I posted a screenshot above showing the problem... :-/ You said you were going to take a look at this issue, but I am still waiting. It is NOT showing the correct results when diacritic characters are used, and at the moment we have your plugin disabled.
  12. Thanks @Adriano Faria. I've just checked and that is the case indeed. Problem fixed. Thank you for your help!
  13. @Charles Thanks for adding this option. I've just upgraded to 4.1.18 and it is working fine. However, I have one question. I was only able to use the "quick edit" function on forums (list of topics), not inside the topic itself. Is this the expected behavior? Thank you in advance.
  14. Sounds great. It would be super to auto-ban anyone posting a language other than the forum's, but I guess unless it is written in Chinese, it is quite impossible to auto-detect the post's language... We mark spammers every day, I will come back here if I see something that could be automated based on the spams we get.
  15. @DawPi any news for me on the issue I reported last week? Thanks.
  16. @Unlucky we are using the Quiz app since its release. In our case, only members of our editoral team can create new quizzes, but it is possible to allow your users to create them. The experience so far has been fantastic, and our users love the idea. Adriano also made several improvements based on our feedback here, and the way it is now is "perfect". You can see this app in action here: http://www.clubedohardware.com.br/provas/ Of course, it is in Portuguese, but you can have an overall look on how it looks with data populated and also after users have taken the quizzes.
  17. Hi @DawPi thanks for updating the plugin. It is now showing back again. However, we are having an issue with diacritic characters, which are automatically replaced by their HTML equivalent. For example, if we enter the word "placa-mãe" in the search box, Google tries to search for "placa-m&aatilde;e" instead, so the search doesn't work as expected (wrong/few results). See screenshot. For this reason, we have the plugin temporarily disable until we figure this out. Thanks.
  18. @DawPi this plugin stopped working. Tried uninstalling and installing it again, at no avail. The search function defaults to the standard IPS search instead of Google's. Please advise.
  19. Excellent, @Charles many thanks for taking my suggestion into consideration!
  20. @Adriano Faria I meant in pixels for the layout. The current layout forces images to be 123x123 px. So there is no reason to upload images bigger than that...
  21. In the future, this is something I want. Not only that, but an integration with Commerce. Because this would create the perfect solution for the certification project we have on our website. Instead of having a separate system doing this, we would have everything integrated: The user who wants to take the certification quiz pays it through Commerce He takes the quiz, which will be comprised of x questions randomized and pulled from a pool with hundreds or even thousands questions If he reaches the minimum approval mark, he gets his certification, meaning that he is moved to a new usergroup (e.g., Certified Users) This is the basic idea. However, this is a hell of a job, and I don't expect Adriano to add all those features, but I am willing to pay him to do this as a custom job whenever we are ready to move on with this idea. I created a PHP script for importing the questions/answers that we had from the custom system we had running before.
  22. @Adriano Faria I think that is a terrific idea. I even have a name for this block: "Hall of Fame."
  23. @Adriano Faria I see... But here all quizzes have 10 questions... But anyway, I understand why you haven't done it.
  24. @Adriano Faria A suggestion. At each quiz, we have a user ranking for that quiz. My suggestion is a block for the main category list to display the global rankings, i.e., the rankings for all users for all quizzes, showing the same data that is already displayed at the ranking for each quiz, plus the name of the quiz. Thanks!
