  1. @fosters that is awesome!
  2. Sounds great. It would be super to auto-ban anyone posting a language other than the forum's, but I guess unless it is written in Chinese, it is quite impossible to auto-detect the post's language... We mark spammers every day, I will come back here if I see something that could be automated based on the spams we get.

@DawPi any news for me on the issue I reported last week? Thanks.

@Unlucky we are using the Quiz app since its release. In our case, only members of our editoral team can create new quizzes, but it is possible to allow your users to create them. The experience so far has been fantastic, and our users love the idea. Adriano also made several improvements based on our feedback here, and the way it is now is "perfect". You can see this app in action here: http://www.clubedohardware.com.br/provas/ Of course, it is in Portuguese, but you can have an overall look on how it looks with data populated and also after users have taken the quizzes.

Hi @DawPi thanks for updating the plugin. It is now showing back again. However, we are having an issue with diacritic characters, which are automatically replaced by their HTML equivalent. For example, if we enter the word "placa-mãe" in the search box, Google tries to search for "placa-m&aatilde;e" instead, so the search doesn't work as expected (wrong/few results). See screenshot. For this reason, we have the plugin temporarily disable until we figure this out. Thanks.

@DawPi this plugin stopped working. Tried uninstalling and installing it again, at no avail. The search function defaults to the standard IPS search instead of Google's. Please advise.
  7. Excellent, @Charles many thanks for taking my suggestion into consideration!

@Adriano Faria I meant in pixels for the layout. The current layout forces images to be 123x123 px. So there is no reason to upload images bigger than that...

In the future, this is something I want. Not only that, but an integration with Commerce. Because this would create the perfect solution for the certification project we have on our website. Instead of having a separate system doing this, we would have everything integrated: The user who wants to take the certification quiz pays it through Commerce He takes the quiz, which will be comprised of x questions randomized and pulled from a pool with hundreds or even thousands questions If he reaches the minimum approval mark, he gets his certification, meaning that he is moved to a new usergroup (e.g., Certified Users) This is the basic idea. However, this is a hell of a job, and I don't expect Adriano to add all those features, but I am willing to pay him to do this as a custom job whenever we are ready to move on with this idea. I created a PHP script for importing the questions/answers that we had from the custom system we had running before.

@Adriano Faria I think that is a terrific idea. I even have a name for this block: "Hall of Fame."

@Adriano Faria I see... But here all quizzes have 10 questions... But anyway, I understand why you haven't done it.

@Adriano Faria A suggestion. At each quiz, we have a user ranking for that quiz. My suggestion is a block for the main category list to display the global rankings, i.e., the rankings for all users for all quizzes, showing the same data that is already displayed at the ranking for each quiz, plus the name of the quiz. Thanks!

For all the people who are following this topic, the layout/style issues I had is solved by clearing the cache, it was a CSS caching issue.

Oh, ok. Thanks for the clarification. It is just weird that on the "index" page it shows the creation date and in the quizzes themselves it shows the updated date. It is fine the way it is, I think you should change this on the index page as previously reported. I also found a layout issue while editing the quizzes, probably related to the other layout issues I reported. I will send you the screenshot in a PM.

I've done that successfuly on my board, FYI.

@Adriano Faria I will make it live in a few moments, and I will send you the link via PM so you can take a look on why the layout is breaking in our install. As for the dates, as I pointed out, on the main page, the date that is displayed is the quizz_submitted date, but inside each category, the date that is displayed is the quizz_updated date. Nowhere in the category list or in the quiz itself the original creation date is displayed. I suggest you to add the creation date in the information list. See the attached screenshot. Thanks!

@Adriano Faria A few tweaks to the main page are necessary, please see the attached screenshot. (I have it set so only admins can see the app while I am still setting it up. As soon as I make it live, I will let you know, so you can see what I am talking about at a live install.)

@Adriano Faria found a style issue, see screenshot. The title is too close to the image. Thanks! PS: It would also be great to inform the ideal image size somewhere (e.g., below the upload box).

@Adriano Faria I was able to add an image to the question by simply adding the HTML code to the question. It worked fine! See screenshots.

@Adriano Faria Thanks for all your replies and explanations. Thank you specifically for providing the fix for the sorting issue. As for the language strings, I was translating everything and I found those empty strings and reported them; I didn't know they were empty in all apps! Thanks for the explanation!

@Adriano Faria Apparently the "Quiz sorting" setting is not working. See attached screenshots. The quizzes are sorted in descending order even when I set it to "ascending".

@Adriano Faria The Quizzes app allows the use of the WYSIWYG editor, however I am wondering if this is enabled only for typing in the quiz description or also for questions and answers. Because here even with this option enabled, questions and anwers must be entered as plaintext. One feature that is missing is the ability to add an optional image per question, so we can have questions such as "Observe the picture/diagram below, based on it, which is correct to say (...)" Cheers!

@Adriano Faria I've just found the second missing string: quizz_auto_follow
  24. Gabriel Torres replied to Adriano Faria's post in a topic in Marketplace
@Adriano Faria yep, I found that 5 seconds after submiting my post There are two language strings missing: perm_quiz_perm__label There was another one but I can't find it again. PS: I AM REALLY IMPRESSED. GOOD JOB!
  25. Gabriel Torres replied to Adriano Faria's post in a topic in Marketplace
@Adriano Faria Installed here and going through all the settings. There is one setting that I think is missing: "which groups can submit quizzes". Here we want only members of our staff to be able to create quizzes, and not any user. I hope you can implement this in a coming version. Thank you a lot!
