  1. I don't really think the refresh is a big deal, but we may ajax it at some point, I don't really know right now. The best I can tell you right now is that we will consider it :)
  2. I'm sure we'll continue adding the calendar buttons were a date is required :)
  3. There's a good chance we will do this in the future, it was actually planned for 3.0 at one point, but ended up getting cut.
  4. Just because we haven't agreed with all your suggestions, doesn't mean that we think the search and view new content system is not important. These systems are not perfect and we will continue to improve them, but there won't be any dramatic changes in the near future. However, it is likely that we will add a setting to choose between using last post or unread posts in the near future. If there were larger changes to be made, that would happen in 3.1, but I wouldn't expect to see a dramatic change to the presentation of these features. I can't tell you for sure what will happen in 3.1 with these features, because we are still discussing this internally and evaluating feedback.
  5. There is no white skin, this is not the skin you are looking for *waves hand* Seriously though, that was a skin that was being developed during beta, I don't really know if it will get released or not.
  6. There's no chance of this being in 3.0.1, but it's a possibility for 3.1.0, but I can't promise anything.

    Board Notices

It's not a bad idea, but I have the same concerns about it that Michael mentioned. Another concern would be resources, if the conditions were complicated enough it could become a really intensive query to run on every page load.
  8. We definitely want ot make it easier to put content from applications into a post, so you'll probably see something like this in a future version.

  10. There's a lot of great suggestions in this topic, keep em coming :)
  11. Glad to hear everything worked well for you :)
  12. Yeah, invisionpower.com is probably a better url, fixed ;)

    New IPS Web Site

Don't worry, we just haven't yet finished that section of the site :)

    File Clean up.

If you have blog installed, don't delete your /blog/ directory though :)
  16. 1) This is a bug, it's been reported and fixed for RC2 2) It's very possible we will do something like that, most of the hooks are very basic right now and will probably see improvements in future versions. In the meantime, I wouldn't be surprised if modder's created a more feature packed hook. :) 3) Good idea, it's something we will consider, but no promises :)

  18. We never give 'fake' release dates, when we do give dates, they are based on the best information we have available at the time. I would also say that we are not far off from the June estimated release date.
  19. Kotonoha is correct, we don't think similar topic features are accurate enough to be useful and worth the extra resources it takes to generate them. I'm sure someone will release a hook with this functionality though. I do think there is a chance you could see a feature like this included with a tagging system, but nothing has been decided yet.
  20. Hope you enjoy the software! :)
  21. Glad to hear that the upgrade went smoothly for you :)
  22. There are a lot of advantages to this system from a designer point of view, it's very easy to move elements of the page around when it's all one big template. You could probably also make an argument for this way being faster or at the very least on par with the old one, since functions and function calls are ore expensive than an if statement. It's been this way since the 2 series, it's a resource saving measure. There is a setting to make the topic view counter update immediately however.

    LoFI folder?

It's to keep any links that are already pointing to the lofi version from breaking. As far the install time, there's just a lot of work to do during the install, at least it only happens once :)
