First of all, I UNDERSTAND that I am using the beta version and installed in the Test url, after all the purpose is not to use it in the main forum.

I upgraded from version 4.7.19 to version 5.0.0 Beta 7, although it appears to have finished, I can access the admincp but the website itself keeps giving a 500 error, how can I solve this?

I've tried clearing the cache, but to no avail.

I don't know if it was because it was updated on top of the modified theme that I had and then I removed it, I don't know if that was the problem.

Do you see any logged errors in your system log?

Is it possible to redo the upgrade to try to resolve it?

Make sure you set it as your default theme on the same page in the AdminCP. You might have to click the small down arrow button and click 'Set As Members' Theme'.

Can you please take a screenshot of the Themes page within your AdminCP? I just want to make sure you have set the default theme correctly.

Have you also tried clearing your system cache just in case? You can do it by going to AdminCP -> System -> Support -> Get Support -> Click 'Clear System Caches' under Tools & Diagnostics.

As I said, I installed the update and upgraded on top of a custom theme, but I removed it. In any case, I did a clean installation on my local server, got the original theme, downloaded it and then uploaded it to my test server, but without success, and I have already cleared the cache several times.

That shouldn't cause issues considering you've created a new theme and made it your default one.

You may have to wait for someone from the team to assist you that has more technical knowledge than I have. 😅 There have been others I have assisted with similar issues and the steps I gave worked.

If it were possible, could you let me know so I can try to resolve it?

Hey @Adriano Faria, basically this is the error I have

If you are getting an internal server error, you should be getting errors being logged from that too. The above are from the upgrade, so not recent

This is the problem, it doesn't show any log.

Looks like you may have a version 4 file present: /applications/forums/widgets/hotTopics.php

And, how to fix it?
