I am setting up a community, and I encounter a problem in the commerce module, when I try to create a new product for the store.
I want to create advertising packages to sell them in the store, but I can't select the product type 'Advertisement' in the product configuration.
Can you tell me if I need to configure something to be able to activate the sale of ads?

Would try going to ACP -> System -> Advertisement to see if you have access to the Advertisement module. There should not be any prior configuration needed to setup an Advertisement product but you do need access.

I do have access to the ads module. Anyway, I have created an ad to test, and the ad is saved fine and displays correctly. But in the store, I can't select that module.
We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.

I had not configured the access. Try now to see if you can connect to the web site.
It looks like you are editing a package - once a package is created and saved, it cannot be changed from the type that was initially chosen.
You will need to create a new package, which will allow you to select Advertisement.
Great. Thank you very much. I was using the method of copying products that were already created, to modify them and thus create a new one, but I did not know that you can not modify the type of product, once created.
