  1. I have been able to recover the site. Thanks anyway. For some reason, which I don't know whether to attribute to IPS or the S3 provider, when returning the file storage back to the server, the uploads folder was marked with 666 permissions. Seems a bit diabolical, hahah, but it's true.
  2. Please, I need help urgently, but I can't find any support service and the only thing I can do is to ask in the forum. My website is completely down and I don't know why and I have no way to access the site. Blank page in the ACP and frontend. I did nothing but revert the S3 configuration, back to local storage on the server. I tried setting recovery mode, but it didn't work. The truth is that I am desperate, because several months work is at stake and I have no backup of the current state. The last backup I have is from April 24, but I can't go back to that point because it would lose the work of some developer who has been working, last week, on the templates of some custom applications and add-ons.   3. I managed to revert the configuration and in theory, everything now points to the server directory, but it hasn't been fixed. I have this error on the main site and on the ACP: [[Template core/front/global/global/globalTemplate is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme]]] I ran recovery_mode, but it didn't work. Still the same and I have no way to access the acp or recover the website. I don't know if this is covered by support, but it's a delicate situation for me because I don't know what to do. But it doesn't work. I have no way of loading the web correctly or logging into the acp. I have even uploaded all the files from the IPS installation back to the server, in case any of them have been corrupted, but it doesn't work. Truly, I am in a critical situation, if someone can give me a hand I would be very grateful.
  5. Resolved. For some reason, the app was not sending the files to the S3 bucket. I don't know if it's because of some permissions issue or something, because with other apps it doesn't happen. I reverted the configuration to save the files on the server, and everything is working again.
  6. Hello. I have a serious problem with my installation. I was setting up the S3 external storage for an application, and it has all gone down. There is no way to access the ACP or the website. I set the constant recovery_mode , but it didn't work. The storage works fine with other applications and general attachments and images.   7. In case anyone finds themselves in a similar situation to mine, I will try to explain briefly how I have solved the problem in my installation, following the advice you have given me. I have put the IPS installation in Developers mode, and I have directly translated the title of the application in the topLevel of the furl.json file, for the Blog, Calendar, Gallery and Downloads applications, since the other applications do support the translation, from the friendly URLs configuration of the IPS control panel. For example, the original line in the furl.json file in the data directory of the 'calendar' application was: "topLevel": "events" I modified it as follows: "topLevel": "encuentros" I then rebuilt the version of each modified application, from the applications panel, and disabled Developer Mode. So far it doesn't seem to present any problems. For the third-party applications, I have made a copy in which I modified the furl.json file directly in the .tar file, using 7zip so as not to break the TAR package structure, and reinstalled the application in IPS with the modified FURL, with no apparent problems so far.

In principle I don't plan to upgrade to version 5, at least not for a long time, since I have a very customised community with my own and third-party applications and plugins, and I understand that it will take a lot of time and effort to adapt all that. Bearing in mind that the horizon of my project does not contemplate major updates, at least in a couple of years, approximately how many updates can IPS version 4 still undergo before the end of its development? I ask this question to try to solve the problem by modifying the FURL files, as I understand that, if I do so, I will have to repeat the process with each new update.

  12. Hello, I'm trying to translate the friendly URLs of the community into my website's language, but I'm running into a problem with some applications that I can't translate. For example: The real URL: app=calendar&module=calendar&controller=view&view=overview&do=featured Is by default configured with the friendly URL: https://mydomain.com/events/featured And I'm trying to translate it to https://mydomain.com/encuentros/destacado But when I save the configuration, it gets stored as https://mydomain.com/events/encuentros/destacado, meaning, it shows the translated name of the application as another subdirectory of the application itself, but it doesn't allow me to directly translate the name. This happens to me with several applications, however, with applications like Forums or Commerce, it doesn't happen. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong, or how I could translate the entire friendly URL?

My course has a duration of five months, and I would like to charge for the subscription to the course for only five months, but the only option I can find is for the user to cancel the subscription at the end of the course, which seems to me to be an abuse of the customer.
