Marc Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Yes, you have redirect items there which are not default. Please replace that with a default unaltered htaccess downloaded from your admin CP (System>Search Engine Optimisation) then check again abetts 1

Sending around 13-14k emails a month, it AWS SES easy enough to set up? As @Randy Calvert mentioned, AWS SES is one of the lightest and cheapest transactional email services available. I would highly suggest it with the volume of email you are sending. They also have one of the highest reputations which only helps your email deliverability. Our instructions are very detailed and should be easy to set up. If you have any questions, just reach out and we’ll get it solved for you. It’s a set it, and forget it type of solution.

JohnCourt Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Been having the same issue with my "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of my bulk mails, the user clicks on it and they are taken to the forum home page. Thanks for reporting this, I'll follow along and see what you come up with.

JohnCourt Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 I switched my bulk mail preferences to PHP for a test, and the unsubscribe link works now. I can't leave it on PHP though, my host a2hosting does not like bulk mails going through their system, I get a nasty gram telling me to stop that, so I need to find a mailing service other than SendGrid. Just wanted to report in that switching to PHP does indeed work.

A sys admin who manages web servers, DNS settings and the like will have no problem with the process, but I wouldn’t recommend it to the regular IPS community owner. You can see the long list of instructions here: https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/9803-aws-simple-email-service-with-bounce-management/ Of course it’s doable, but one also needs to maintain that and know what to do when problems arise. So, I am hesitant to recommend it unless people the necessary experience. Edited November 6, 2022 by opentype JohnCourt 1

I am testing disabling tracking in Sendgrid, and disabling tracking at the SendGrid portal in admin/email settings/sendgrid. IP has a built in feature as well to disable tracking from SendGrid. I'll report back
