Nikica
Hello to the forum members. I have run the upgrade today to the latest IPS forum version and once the update should start I have received the following error message: 4S109/5We were unable to start a PHP session. You will need to contact your host to adjust your PHP configuration before you can continue. The error reported was: session_start(): Failed to read session data: files (path: /var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php72) Can you please advise on how to proceed? All the best, Nik
Jim M
You’ll want to ensure you’re running PHP 7.4 (or 8.0 / 8.1) and then ensure you’re able to run sessions. Please contact your hosting provider if you need help with those items.
Nikica
Thanks for your fast reply Jim. I have now checked and the server is using the PHP 8.1.9 version. PHP version 8.1.9 (Supports 64bit values) How can I check if I am able to run the sessions. Also, I would like to note that so far I haven't had issues with automatic upgrades from the forum back-end.
