Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
PatrickRQ Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 As per title, would be thankful, so we can use it as base for own mods.
opentype Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 A Pages database works as an FAQ database out of the box. It doesn’t need a certain template. What else do you have in mind on top of the stock functionality? If you describe it, we could probably make some suggestions. Jim M 1
PatrickRQ Posted January 6, 2022 Author Posted January 6, 2022 @opentype, thanks, I actually know how Pages work, I made Bug Tracker, Release notes, Guides and few more on this. What I asked in the topic is IPS can share (export the schema) of their FAQ database and template they use, so we can use it as as base and adapt to own needs. It would be nice from IPS side to share such. They shared tutorial about "release notes", why not to continue with that good pattern of useful "tiny" addons that do not deserve a product status. In general it would be nice if IPS would ship such in default installation. Most people look for that Pages FAQ, Notes and more. Whoever won't like them would simply not use. Just my way of thinking. THanks! Â kmk and IveLeft... 1 1
Solution Marc Posted January 7, 2022 Solution Posted January 7, 2022 We are unable to share items such as these from our main page at the present time, unfortunately. We have a lot of custom items written on top of these which means they are not readily shareable. SeNioR- 1
PatrickRQ Posted January 7, 2022 Author Posted January 7, 2022 Maybe you can add more tutorials for Pages, same you did for "Release notes" 🙂 I think I asked that two years ago IveLeft... 1
