Before I do that though, I installed the latest version, and it was working, but now all I get is a grey screen. Any ideas?
June 2, 201014 yr You need to alter your group prefix for $$ advertisers $$ Change the " to ', this should be automatic in the latest version, I'll have a look at the code when I get a moment

June 4, 201014 yr Thanks for the update :) Looking great.... however...... Now my members would like a way to do the following.... 1) have custom marker pins - i.e. different logos - or perhaps using the wording on blank ones. and perhaps more importantly 2) the ability to only show certain groups of custom markers. So just like the show friends link, have some way to just show group A or group B of the markers - we will have over 1,000 custom markers in the UK, so the ability to show just one of the 20 odd groups would be a great advantage. Thanks.

Thanks. 1) at the moment only Google pins are supported. 2) I will try to have a look at this for future versions, I want to add more user control to the markers. June 7, 201014 yr Is there any chance that something like this could be made so when a member uploads an attachment photo to a post you can also pin where it was taken in google maps & it shows along side of the pic like with Panoramio but built into IPB...?? cheers.
June 9, 201014 yr noticed under my database check I have Quote member_map_cmarkers_groups ALTER TABLE member_map_cmarkers_groups ADD )member_map_cmarkers ALTER TABLE member_map_cmarkers ADD )
June 12, 201014 yr Hello ! Sorry, i don't speak good english. Thanks very much for your app and the update but now i can't find this settings : Notifications are not very important but a title of tab in french, yes. Can you explain me please ? :(
June 12, 201014 yr Application tabs need to be altered in the ACP, you need to go to the 'system' tab and then goto Manage Applications on the left. You then need to edit the application and change the 'public name' Edited June 12, 201014 yr by stoo2000
June 14, 201014 yr Thank you. I am trying this. I have it installed but do not see the link for the Googlemaps API stuff or have any idea where I'd put it if I had it. I see no instructions in my download. Am I blind?

June 15, 201014 yr Hi there, if I've more than one user in a town (but with seperate addresses) the map is showing the latest user. Is there a solution?

If they are in the exact same position the last one will appear on top. if they are nearby as you zoom in they will seperate. I do want to merge these in future so they merge into one marker.
June 16, 201014 yr As a future request, I would like to have the option to place the pin on the map, without having to choose a specific adress. Or just putting down the exact long and lat of a place. This is due to the fact, that most my members live somewhere Google has not got the street adresses 100% correct yet. Would this be possible to do in future versions?
June 16, 201014 yr So just enter the town :) In fact I changed my wording from Your Location: to Your Location: (can be address or postcode or town etc.)
June 16, 201014 yr Yes, but many of my members live or have houses in the forrest outside the small village, not near any town. The Long/lat would be the only thing that works well enough :)

June 16, 201014 yr "Custom Markers" don't seem to work for me, when clicking on it in the ACP I get: "There appears to be an error with the database" (and the database check shows what .Ian has posted). Anyway, nice application, thank you!

Does the "choosing place" have to popup when inserting coordinates? Shouldn
