Manuela Schwendener Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Hi Please add a table element to the WYSIWYG editor. And let me set the border to width="0" or to white, because I'd only need it to display text in columns. Bonus: if the reader can change the sort by clicking on a column to sort by the values in that column (alphabetically). Thank you
Joel R Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 You can download and install any Ckeditor plugin that matches our version of the IPS Ckeditor. They have a table plugin.
Manuela Schwendener Posted February 26, 2019 Author Posted February 26, 2019 > IPS Ckeditor Thank you, Joel. I'm on a Cloud Plan and can't use those.

If you are thinking it is because you have to upload the zip to the server, and then add items to a config.js etc then don't think that. Use the functionality which IPS has made available to avoid you needing to do that.
Joel R Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Yeah I'm confused too. The ability to load in new Ckeditor plugins is allowed in the ACP for any community. You can check with IPS Support if you have any questions.
Mark H Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Joel and Nathan are correct. Editor plugins can be added in CIC, as long as they are "self-contained" ZIP files (which do not require files to be uploaded separately via FTP), or you can create them manually if you have the correct HTML code.
MNOfficial Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 I will have to check Ckeditor out, because I would love to see a Table option to my board!
MNOfficial Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 I am trying to upload the zip, however, another item is stuck there and won't let me erase it to upload the table .zip!
MNOfficial Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 How do I remove "colordialog" as an option? I don't even have anything installed like that on my system. And, since I can't remove it, I can't even upload a new button at this point, and it's irritating me. Is there no way to remove it?

Log a ticket, because it's not supposed to display all that.

Nathan Explosion Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Right, I've looked at the language for that specific message that is displayed and it is editor_plugin_folder_desc editor_plugin_folder (and its _desc) is displayed when the server environment doesn't allow the upload and extraction a .zip file (no PHP ZipArchive module) and therefore it wants you to first upload the contents of the ckeditor plugin zip file to the mentioned folder via FTP. You then refresh the page you are at and you should then have the plugin available in the list. 'colordialog' is one of the default plugins provided with IPS, hence why you see it there. Probably no ticket needed I reckon - you just have to follow the instructions they provide you. If you want upload the zip the proper way and have IPS do the extraction etc then you'll need to check in to the server's ability to allow it (it uses the PHP ZipArchive module)

I locked myself out of the Client Area, as I have too many damn passwords to try and remember. There's simply no way to just remove "colordialog" from the selector, and allow it to let me select something new? LOL.
Iwooo Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 @MNOfficial Try to use Lastpass or 1password for your credentials.

socceronly Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I'll have a go at doing this on Monday. Looking forward to having this. I didn't know this was possible.
