MySQL Version Recommendation

Featured Replies

Hi, my admincp shows me following recommendation

You are running MySQL version 5.5.5-10.1.26-MariaDB-0+deb9u1. While this version is compatible, future releases of our software will require version 5.6.2 or above.

But installed version is

mysql -V
mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.1.26-MariaDB, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 5.2

We're aware of the notice showing up in some situations when it shouldn't.

If you're using MariaDB (targeting this any anyone else reading this topic) you can ignore this notice for now (in 4.3.4)

It'd be nice if we could dismiss it, I don't like a big red banner like that across the dashboard of my ACP. I take it that this will be patched in an upcoming version to not pester those on MariaDB?

Yes, and it is already dismiss-able (there should be an X in the upper right hand corner of the box).

Ah it is; when you disable SpaciousACP (A Modification). If you have that modification it isn't. Thanks Ryan.
