Profiles and files in Marketplace

Hi

On a members profile the amount of files they have listed in the marketplace is mentioned in the left sidebar but why isn't this a live link for easy click thru?

Can it be done?

I agree.  They should have built a profile tab for files, like they do for albums or blogs.

This is a profile field... at least it was in earlier versions. So it's really easy to someone add the link in the ACP.

It exists, it's just hidden... Ironically enough, that's the page clicking on the 'Contributor' badge will take you.

I have a plugin called profile fields. Do you mean ask them to add their own link into one of the fields? The link to their market place files if they have any I mean?

@Adriano Fariafor example has 222 files in the marketplace.  Pity I cant go see any of them unless you make me go do some searching and hoping I find them...

Here's the thing... its something to do with MARKETING yourself.  Let me explain although i probs don't need to

Some people are exceptionally helpful ( considering all the  stuff I ask for help on) and they tend to stick in your mind.  And then you check profile and might want to support them with some file that looks quite good. Cant bloody find it can we? Cant find them.

So you have another glass of wine and give up.......

I think she eants a link here on IPS, that’s why I said is a profile field and it’s just anyone edit the field and add the link you sent.

me too, some time I try click there....now I have to take 2 clicks, See their activity, then donwloads

This already exists (for all content types, not just files).

1. Go to any profile
2. Click the 'see their activity' button at the right
3. Click the content type in the left hand column

She’s asking to add this link in the profile field here on IPS  that shows how many submissions a user has.
