When will these be updated for 4.2.7?  I have a few themes I need to update and 4.2.7 has a security patch, so I'd like to update.

Same issue with 4.2.8.  This is a security release, but I suspect many people have themes they use on their site and would like to update.

So does this mean that with any of these updates/patches 4.2.7 > 4.2.8 that the only theme that gets the security update is the default IPS theme? And which one the "default" or the "4.2" and why are there two IPS themes now after upgrading to 4.2?

There are not any template changes for 4.2.8.

Template changes will be applied to templates that you have not modified. If you have modified them, it is up to you to merge in any changes to your customised template.
