Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Square Wheels Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Is there a way to force the updates to show up in the ACP? It's a lot easier to update that way than to download the whole package, upload it and run the installer.
Mack_au Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Find the Applications Page, click check for updates. They should show up in the applications list.

IPS is intentionally rolling out 4.2 in stages to it's customers, so we won't see the update notification until they get to us. If you want to update, then you should download the full package. In the three hours for you to get your first response in this topic, you could have easily uploaded the entire package and started playing around with 4.2
Adriano Faria Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Add: define( 'USE_DEVELOPMENT_BUILDS', TRUE ); to your constants.php file, update then remove it.
ABGenc Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 I think the flow is now back to normal. Now 4.2.1 is marked as Current Release https://invisioncommunity.com/release-notes/
sweethoney Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 yea go to Applications and look 4 the thing that sed check for updates
Ilya Hoilik Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Now updateCheck shows 4.2.1 as current version for all communities, so I think version 4.2 is now available for all clients. "Check for Updates" button on the Applications page is the best way to force run task for checking for updates.
