Date Format

I'd like to be able to adjust the date formatting across the suite, but it appears I can only do so for the Calendar app.

At the moment it's using M/D/Y for shorthand and I'd like to be able to use D/M/Y instead.

Is it possible or is it something that needs to be added to the software? Seems like an oversight if it's not something that can be changed.

Indeed, how can we change that?

Is there a setting in 4.0.7 to change the way date and times for posts and quotes are shown so the actual date and time are shown and not x minutes, hours or days ago?

I need to change the forums date format to dd-mm.yyyy

Edit the language Locale option and choose your country.

this will not work

for example the date showing 31 May 2015 while I need it to be 31-05-2015

Sadly, no.

Where do you set the global timezone for your board on 4.x? Is this possible?

Any idea to change date format ?

Hello ! :)

I did the changes in the ACP languages section. My date language was English and the format was English too (MM DAY, YEAR --> December 9, 2016) :

I simply translated the months and placed the {0#} at the beginning, so that I get DAY MM, YEAR (9 décembre, 2016) :

Information needed is here :

I also checked the locale was set to my language.
