April 27, 201510 yr Community Expert If you have email validation enabled, the user should be directed to a page stating this after registration.

June 2, 20169 yr Is there a way to show a special welcome page after having pressed the email confirmation link. I want to lead this new user through the first steps, like - Say "hi" to all users in our welcome forum or - Have look at our popular suforums... ....... A lot of new users at our forum don't know what to do now. I want to show them a couple of options.

I want to lead this new user through the first steps … I do it like this: I route new users through a special “new users membergroup” and promote them automatically after 5 days. During that 5 days they will see a “Welcome” button in the main navigation button and on that page I explain all the things I want tell new users.
