lilroo503 Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Would you consider adding the option to enable viewing of signatures as well? It seems that defaults to off.
Adriano Faria Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 Would you consider adding the option to enable viewing of signatures as well? It seems that defaults to off.Actually this a global setting on ACP. If you enable it, users will view it (default per member is ON).
lilroo503 Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I must just have a bug then because turning that setting on still defaults individual new members to off. *shrugs* Thanks for the quick reply!

Well, I get the same error, then I uninstalled and installed again and it worked. This is probably due to the changes IPS 4.1 had on plugin folder name (the error is mkdir()). Try to do that. I'll update the file sometime soon.

Not sure what is that. It's something in Core, I believe. Reinstall abd you're ok. Hsppens with any plugin, randomly, when installed for the first time.

2TonWaffle Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Installed the plugin but when following the instructions I'm unable to find the settings for it.
KentT Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Does this enable Private Messages (i.e. Messenger) by default? On my converted forum, the private messages were converted, but the members must Enable Messenger in order access these functions.

2TonWaffle Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Guessing there isn't going to be a solution to the problem? Oh well, back to the drawing board to find a way to gets something similar to what this was purported to be.
Simon Woods Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 There is now edit button for the plugin because that's not how it works. It simply activates the listed features so that members don't have to go looking for the setting and admins don't have to also go looking through the ACP for the corresponding setting. Basically, it turns the default for the listed settings from OFF -> ON.
Hunter Lyons Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Is there any way to retroactively fix this? So I installed this plugin but I need to fix it for past users. Can I run something in mysql to enable these for previously registered users?

They can all be toggled and always have been open to that. This plugin just conveniently throws the particular features together into the ON position, since for some people they're considered essential at the global level.

Each member would have to enable it individually whereas the plugin automatically makes them ON by default. It's still useful. Thanks!
