February 19, 201410 yr Well, I do hope that the download module is more flexible than what I'm seeing here and what I saw in the blog concerning IP.C 8 months ago. I saw the Q2 announcement. I really do hope that you guys will involve some experienced developers and site owners who have diverse offerings soon (any group, doesn't have to be me.)
February 19, 201410 yr Management Well, I do hope that the download module is more flexible than what I'm seeing here You pretty much only saw the uploader. So I hope it's more flexible that simply uploading files too. Especially as its name is "IP.Downloads". Although I'd sort of enjoy the irony of a product called "Downloads" that only allowed you to upload.

The front-end previews included in that demo all look so beautiful so far though  The layout for the file download page itself is just so.. ergonomic. Even if it's not a finished design yet, it's one of the most enticing things I've seen. (Was allowing the tag prefixes to be pink a compromise?)
February 19, 201410 yr Management We jumped on a bit of a bandwagon late last year. IPS 4 is now 50 shades of grey.

Yeah, the download submission interface knocked it out of the park. Rikki did a great job there. It sets the level of finish and polish IPS 4 has throughout. I really can't wait to reveal it because it's awesome. It might not be cool to say that about our own product, but there you go.

If you show it to me , i can freely express my cooler opinions without any conflict of interest :)
February 19, 201410 yr Some of us are good at expressing positive opinions about awesome products in an online *ahem* forum. :p Very much looking forward to seeing the full thing! James
February 19, 201410 yr are the skcreenshots in the topic 4.0 - IP.Downloads Submission a concept theme or is that the final design?

February 19, 201410 yr That is the final design. Very Nice and fluid! can't wait to get my hands on it and start making some themes!
February 19, 201410 yr Though note that everything we show in blogs is subject to change, polish, etc. as we continue developing.
February 19, 201410 yr We jumped on a bit of a bandwagon late last year. IPS 4 is now 50 shades of grey. I thought we were getting state of the art software here? Surely your gonna make it 50 shades darker before the realise?
February 19, 201410 yr are the skcreenshots in the topic 4.0 - IP.Downloads Submission a concept theme or is that the final design? That is the final design. We have seen some changes lately and more we could see the look of the forum and some improvements on the calendar and IP.Download, my question is, is it going to also have side changes the IP.Content application?
February 19, 201410 yr We jumped on a bit of a bandwagon late last year. IPS 4 is now 50 shades of grey. IPS 4 started off as a twilight fanfiction?
February 19, 201410 yr is it going to also have side changes the IP.Content application? I'm not sure what you mean by that? if you are asking if ip.content is going to be updated too? that would be a yes, all apps are getting in on the 4.0 goodness! :)

February 19, 201410 yr Love the header, finally fixing all of the clutter. I'm really curious about Search, I hope it's been massively improved. I noticed the Advanced Search button was gone in that preview.

February 20, 201410 yr IPS 4 started off as a twilight fanfiction? Sincerely hope a lot of the agegroup reading twilight are not reading 50 shades .... From what my wife tells me it may almost make me blush lol ..
February 20, 201410 yr maybe u could post a gutfeeling if its close to final release or not Check out all the latest blog posts about v4. From what I see there, it already looks very polished, so at least that is a strong indicator that v4 isn't too far away anymore. :)
