OK I know we have facebook and twitter connect When should we see google+ added to the list of options

Google uses OpenID, which has been supported for a while.

I don't recommend it, it's a pain to set up :P

Though a Google+ Stream integration would be cool.

can IPS give us option for login in via Google similar to those rectangular box of Twitter and FB in login box ??

I say get rid of all this connect garbage. Make them as separate installable applications.

If you don't want them, disable them in the Admin CP.

I already have it that way :P . I'd rather see stuff like Portal developed(which IP has dropped now :( ) and come in-built as standard rather then this stuff. Yeah... I'm one of those social network haters, I admit.

Like it or not Social Networks are the new hub of the web- IPB is to look at it, integrate it and copy it or die slowly and painfully to forum systems who do. :P They're doing a good job at that right now.

Google's OpenID is simply a lot more complicated to set up in it's pure form. Though, it may be possible to do it by declaring your forum as an application. I'll have to look into that... I develop some fun stuff for Google+ atm anyway.
