Nuclear General Posted November 26, 2009 Author Posted November 26, 2009 Alright, thank you Andy. I appreciate it! :) And a news post on TS: (NG30) Global Ads Thanksgiving Sale Extension.
Nuclear General Posted November 27, 2009 Author Posted November 27, 2009 (NG30) Rotating Banners v1.0.0 Released. I have submitted it here on IPS in the Download Manager. It should be approved here within the next 24 or so hours. I hope you guy enjoy this modification and this it is what you are looking for. :)
Nuclear General Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 Hello, I thought I'd update this topic with some progress on the development process. In the next release, I'll be introducing a new feature for Topic View: "Having Ads Show After X Amount Of Posts". With this feature, you can select from a select amount of posts that you want ads to show after. The total amount that will be selectable is 500 posts. But I have set a minimum of 10 post increments for ads to show. This is done this way for one purpose; so ads show up properly with multiple ads on page. The maximum number of ads that actually show properly on one page is 3. Anything higher does not show. So if you have the "Ads Above Topic", "Ads Above Fast Reply", "Ads Below First Post" with the select amount of X posts, some will not show. So to accommodate for this, you may need to disable the "Ads Above Topic" and "Ads Above Fast Reply" for your ads to show. Also, with the X amount of posts feature, the ad below first post will ALWAYS be displayed regardless of this setting. Also, this new feature requires a template bit edit in "Topic View -> topicViewTemplate". This edit goes in the same spot as a previous edit defined in the ReadMe file. I'd rather have skin edits than file edits for these features. For one, they are easier to access, and two, most people do not like file editing. Anyway... please leave your feedback on this new feature. :) Regards, Donald
Nuclear General Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 Hello, For the Christmas holiday, I will be having a sale on all my products. I am doing this sale for one purpose, paying my Cell Phone bill because I am still currently unemployed. So, for the first 30 (total) purchases of either (NG30) Global Ads or (NG30) Rotating Banners, you will receive the (NG30) BuyNow BBCode free of charge. I am doing that as an incentive for the buyers. So if you want the "buy one get one" free, you'd better act now because this sale ends Christmas day at 11:59 PM GMT -7 Mountain Time (USA & CANADA). These products will be sale for $10 USD.Product Listings:(NG30) Global Ads(NG30) Rotating Banners Best Regards, Donald :)
~Julia~ Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 I just tried to buy this product & just ended up going around & around in circles on your forums. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I filled out all the relevant info but kept being taken to the same page. The shoutbox didn't do much to temper my frustration. I would really like to purchase this product.
Nuclear General Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Hello Julia, What kind of trouble were you having with the products system? If you need some help with the purchase, I am always available on my MSN(WLM): mod_making_maniac_2005@hotmail.com Just drop me a message and I'll be glad to help. Regards, Donald :)
~Julia~ Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Hi Donald, Great, thanks for that. I will email you now about this mod. I'm very keen to get it on board.
Nuclear General Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Hello Julia, I sent an email reply to you. Regards, Donald :)
Lincoln Coe Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 The modification is placing ads inside my posts as well as below even though the setting is to put it below the first post. Any idea why?
.Ian Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Sorry - as mentioned in your shout box - because your new version is fully encoded it means I can no longer use your application. :(
Nuclear General Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 Does your host not support ionCube? Most common hosts support ionCube loaders. Please ask your if they support it and if they have the latest version of PHP 5 installed.
Smokey-Rev Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Is this only for Adsense or can this be used for other ad providers such as TrafficRevenue? :)
Nuclear General Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 Yes, you can use TrafficRevenue with this mod. If you purchase, you can use either the Yahoo! or the WidgetBucks settings groups for your advert company. The mod supports raw HTML so that any advert company is supported.
Smokey-Rev Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Fantastic!! Can you perhaps recommend a good advert company that pays through paypal? also do I have to pay THEM to have their ads on my site in any way?
Nuclear General Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 No. Not that I am aware of. I've never used TrafficRevenue or even heard of them. I've just used Google for years and never tried anyone else.
AlexJ Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Well I had purchased your mod 3 to 4 months back. Now since we moved to dedicated machine I have no experience on how to install ioncube and all. Are you willing to help so that I can install your mod back?
Nuclear General Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 Sure thing man. I can show you how to install ionCube. It is a simple task to do. Is your dedicated server a Linux or Windows?
AlexJ Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Linux debian 64 bit. Using apache2 and php 5.x version. Thank you!
Nuclear General Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 What are the exact Apache and PHP versions. I ask because ionCube will not work on Apache 2.2.x or PHP 5.3. If you have either of those, ionCube won't work. ionCube hasn't been updated to work on PHP 5.3 yet. Please PM me the versions k.
AlexJ Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I just moved to dedicated box 2 week back and had installed latest versions of apache2 and my php version is 5.2.6-1+lenny6. So, what would be solution now? Help plz!
Nuclear General Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 You might still be able to use the ionCube on your PHP 5.2.x. If you would like for me to give it a shot, PM me some details so I can use to get it done for you. Or I can walk you through it. EDIT: Hey, does your server have any Zend Extensions installed into the php.ini file?

Can you PM or msn or any instant messenger contact so I can talk to you on weekend and get it installed? Thanks.

Just add me and I'll be glad to help. And yes, <?php phpinfo() ?> will show your Zend Extentions along with any other Extensions installed in your php.ini through that code.
