Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
BryanH Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 IPS Beyond will be offline for approximately 1-2 weeks. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working on improving the services offered and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.Is this for real? Can we at least post our questions over here? I was seeking assistance with an IPB portal plugin, is that ticket worthy?
bfarber Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 If it has anything to do with default functionality in IPB, a ticket is fine yes. :)I know the downtime is unfortunate for many people who visit IPSB regularly, but I assure you it's justified and we're working as quickly as we can on everything. :)
Myr Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Just when I was going to look for information on whether or not someone made an OpenID plugin for IPB. *sigh*
Management Charles Posted December 12, 2007 Management Posted December 12, 2007 Just when I was going to look for information on whether or not someone made an OpenID plugin for IPB. *sigh*Oh someone surely has... we'll be able to post a link to the customer using it next week :)
bfarber Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Ideally it will get released at some point too...
Κeith Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 we're working as quickly as we can on everything. :) Ha! :P
WoLeRiNe` Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 IPS NEWS is here since 2minutes, so it will said some thing very soon :D
Alex Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Is IPSBeyond being scrapped? It seems we now have support forums on the company forums again :)
Jason L Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 When the time is right. All speculation and questions will answered. Well, about IPSBeyond, that is. Just wait for it :P
.Sephiroth. Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 What's up with this Customers usergroup, and why aren't I a part of it? EDIT: Please, IPS. I know some of you have already read this. Don't ignore my question.
Rikki Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 What's up with this Customers usergroup, and why aren't I a part of it? EDIT: Please, IPS. I know some of you have already read this. Don't ignore my question. Your email address here needs to match the email address used in the client area. If you have any trouble, submit a ticket and we'll sort your account for you :)

John__ Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Submit a ticket. I did and they fixed my account earlier.
Jason L Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 The email address used here IS the one used in the client area. :s I smell strtolower().
Mark Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I smell strtolower(). Surely the problem would be a lack of strtolower()? What does strtolower() smell like anyway? I know what it sounds like: "Oh, of COURSE!"
Jason L Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Surely the problem would be a lack of strtolower()? You are correct. Was what I meant, just didn't clearly state.
djxcee Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 noo! IPSBeyond.com is down! oo well, I dont mind waiting 1-2 weeks. may I ask what's going on? new skin? upgrades?
BryanH Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 It appears that IPSB has merged with these forums. However no formal announcement has been made about what's going on. I'm a little curious myself. I was looking for all the articles/tutorials from IPSB!
Smarts Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Any idea when it'll re-open again? Kind of getting cold Turkey symptoms :( :( :( Eager customer to get in again !
BryanH Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 If you're a customer, just login to this board using the email address associated with your customer account and you should have access to the old IPSB forums.
Smarts Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Thank you, since being away for a while seems a lot of things have changed  Am on the process of rectifying things with IPS. Smarts.
mflintjer Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 If you're a customer, just login to this board using the email address associated with your customer account and you should have access to the old IPSB forums. Question?? What if the email address we used to join the "forums.invisionpower.com" forums, and the email we used over at IPS Beyond are different?? What do we do then??
CharlesC Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I think for that you have to submit a ticket Flint, or Widescreen might have to do that, not sure. ;)
mflintjer Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Thanks Charles -- I will get WS on that one right away ;) -- how you been doing mate??
