elj Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Thanks, you'll start to see it (and variations thereof) a lot more in the future :) Read: all the products will use this design? (If so, I've just spent my first year of university fees...) GUI looks amazing, Rikki. Featureset looks great, Josh. :D

.John. Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Thanks, you'll start to see it (and variations thereof) a lot more in the future :) In that case, I can't wait until IPD and IPB 3!
FrostedPopTart Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Might have to buy Nexus just for the nice GUI :D . J/p though, it really is nice and I do like it :) .
Michael P Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 That interface is amazing, nice design Rikki! Out of interest what set(s) of stock icons are you using in that?
THR Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Looks great ... seems to be the general consensus.
Stuart Elliott Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 First spelling mistake spotted? :) Rule: Must have purchaed 2 of: Invision Power Board Yearly License And next, did you REALLY want to show us the IP addresses, and you've gotta love ip addresses in the 1141 subnet mask :)
nicoo Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Great features and great GUI. One note about the GUI: I don't know if it is the case right now, but it would be great if the hole page doesn't immediately load when you click on the top tabs, but only the one line with links underneath the tabs. After clicking the right link in this menu-link-line, the hole page loads. The advantage is that you can quickly find what you want if you don't know in wich tab it is. And even if you know where it is, you'll have only one hole page load. It might already be the case... if not, it would be a great thing IMO.
Management Charles Posted November 28, 2005 Management Posted November 28, 2005 Great features and great GUI. It's already that way :) and features a bookmark ability for those that perfer to go right to where they want to be.
FCB-Mo Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 i hope ipb 3 looks like Nexus cos it is beautiful
Aaron Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 If I had a hosting site or had products to sell I would buy nexus in a heart beat :D
MikeChristopher Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I must say with the release of this coming and IPD im extremely looking forward to them. I think this will cover the bulk of my business and communities pulling together and making everything one unit. The graphical interface is amazing - nice work for Rikki and all that worked on that and from what the screenshots contain at the moment im looking forward to the complete feature set - Nice work from Josh and the team behind him. In all honesty I had doubts with the company after Invision went paid but i think in all honesty it had done what it needed to do. The money has certainly been well spent as a company and hired those needed to develop these products which have certainly made a mark in what websites now need today. Development of products and even the structure of the development has changed 100% and am looking to great more development works in the future. Mike.
tranceandy Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 It looks really, really nice (w00t) I am looking for something to help with organising my support requests at school and it some of it may just be what I need :D
Craig Brass Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 WOW @ the KILLER interface. Will all other IPS products follow this as it looks great?
nicoo Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 It's already that way :) and features a bookmark ability for those that perfer to go right to where they want to be. Thats fine ! Nice job Rikki !
Oblivion. Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 /me thinks that design should be used on IPSBeyond. I love the look of it, good look on the development ;).
Brandon C Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I was literally drooling at the sight of that topic. :o I want so bad. Beautiful. Perrrrrrrrrrrrfect. :o
Michael_C Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Whoever designed that(Rikki I think?) should design a skin for IPS Beyond. :D
