All in all, get rid of My assistant and just make the links in it part of a drop-down menu. I agree. Wish I knew how to code this up myself. I'm about to move my forum from 2.0.4 to 2.1.5 and I know my users are going to complain about the "My Assistant". Nice idea in concept, but I don't think it was very well implemented. I'm not really fond of popups, and since this one doesn't even open up in a separate, resizable window, it's usefulness is somewhat limited. AtariAge Posted March 5, 2006 Share Posted March 5, 2006 I have modified my forum so that it displays the old PM notification when you receive a new PM, without removing any of the My Assistant functionality. The only difference is that you see the old notification box instead of My Assistant popping up when you get a new PM.
