Hello, My forum crashes every few minutes, When the site recovers, this is the system logs I see; is it the root cause or a symptom? Hi, Let me preface by saying I realize this is outside the scope of normal support (hence posting in this forum) and any pointers/suggestions would be in "at your own risk" territory. Am also aware that any file and/or DB suggested changes can cause issues and a more careful/time consuming approach in terms of future upgrades, but that is more than acceptable if it means a faster/better experience for our users. Whenever there's a rapid refresh (F5 spam) on the forum, the CPU usage spikes to over 75%, which is quite concerning. Not related to IPS and just throwing this out there to see if anyone has suggestions on how to troubleshoot. My server went down last night and I only found my sites were all offline in the morning. Fast forward and I can't get mysql server to restart. Hello! I've been with invision for years and i have an issue that I'm not sure how to go about. I have 121k members, and over 3 million posts on my website. A lot of posts on my site have HTTP links from members posting links years ago or members having http links in their signature from years ago. My question is, how do I change all the links on every post to HTTPS without having to go through every single post and member one by one? Is there a way? My website itself is using HTTPS, but that doesn't change the links that have been posted over the years. I ask this because it deranks both my site and and others when it comes to SEO. Any help…

Hello, I've recently noticed an error in my community. As we know, when adding a post in a thread, there's a smooth animation that plays. I've observed that if I create my own topic, this animation appears correctly, but when I reply in a topic created by someone else or an older one, this post-adding animation (the smooth transition) does not appear. Could this issue be related to using Cloudflare? How can I fix this error? Thank you for your help.

Hello everyone, we are trying to get a test install up and running but I have ran into a few issues I requested a backup of the site files and DB from invision. The sites data is stored on S3 I downloaded a copy of the invision software and uploaded the zip to my doc root, files exacted, a new MySQL DB was created and data imported created a conf_global.php in the doc root updated with the local MySQL DB credentials and site URL. plugins & applications folder dropped in the doc root as well. The site comes up with what I would think are minor issues, some icons are not showing and menu items. The site is pulling everything from the S3 buckets set on the li…

A member actually pointed this out, and I had to look at the internet archive / wayback machine to see for myself. 🙂 On older 4.x versions the widget to display the forum total posts/topics was accurate however the newer version seems to round it up. First thought was space so I moved it to underneath rather than the side but it did not change. Please see attached pic: As noted via a query... Since a few days ago the gallery module is extremely slow, up to no response. https://www.oly-forum.com/gallery/ This applies only to logged in users, guests have no problems. I had the suspicion that it's a problem with unapproved content and checked the approval queue. Here I received an OutOfRangeException. Any ideas what might be the reason? Steps to reproduce Create alert as mod Visit a topic with multiple posts as member by selecting "go to first unread post" The url is "/page/1143/#comment-2849102" When you dismiss the alert it refreshes the page and the url changes to "/page/1143/" I think that this is not a normal behavior Thanks in advance

I had a user register with an invalid email address so i receive a bounceback email informing me of the invalid email address. The issue is that the registration email was then attempted to resend every hour, which lead to me receiving bounceback emails every hour (and could eventually lead to email server getting blocked). Has anyone seen this or something similar before? In the past I would get email bounceback from invalid addresses and that was it... it was a 'one and done'. Hello, I gave this topic a 5 rating. If you hover the cursor over a rating and move the cursor away, the rating does not return to its original value.
