Hello all, some time ago I had a member of this community set me up a front page, this was great initially but time constraints prevent me from keeping it populated with new information and now I would like to remove it.. coupd somone please tell me how I do that? When I disable the front page it effect my URL landing page and new visitors get a 404..

Hi, I'm brand new to IPS and am setting up the features I want to use on my forums. I am trying to bring in some RSS feeds as new posts. I started doing this with my own blog and it seems to have pulled in every post on the feed. Is there a way to limit what old content is created as a post? Ideally i'd like to just create posts for new entries going forwards from the date that I set up the RSS link. thanks, Ben

When someone pastes formatted text and / images it stretches the page, such that the responsiveness is ruined in mobile view. Is there some way to stop this from happening in settings or CSS? See image below for an example:

Hi there. Just wondering if there is a setting or easy way to get rid of the sidebar in pages. The page I'm working on doesn't need a side bar, but even if I put nothing (wigets/blocks) in the side bar, it seems to still be there but just a blank space to the right of my main block (the car image one with pointers on it)? Hi. I'm having an issue with commerce in that although my site has a valid ssl certificate, when arriving at checkout, although the url states "https://mywebsite.whatever" the little padlock in the address bar has a warning triangle next to it. When you click on that it states "Connection partially encrypted. Parts of the page you are viewing were not encrypted before being transmitted over the internet." There is a link https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mixed-content-blocking-firefox?redirectlocale=en-US&as=u&redirectslug=how-does-content-isnt-secure-affect-my-safety&utm_source=inproduct too which takes me to this page which tells me basically my site…

I just updated to 4.1.9 today from 4.1.8. I read through the changes that the update said had been made. I'm sure one of the changes was that we now have the ability to "Close pools". I've tried looking everywhere but still don't see an option for this?? It's something I think would be of benefit to a lot of forum owners. Is there somewhere to look for this setting that i may have missed? Thanks Dave

It doesn't look like moderators can explicitly ban users. The way I have it setup now is that they must assign a large amount of warning points, which then triggers an automatic ban. That's an odd way of doing it. Is it general practice to give moderators access to the AdminCP solely for banning, or is there a better way?

I still have no idea how to setup payouts. I would like to allow my users to be able to sell digital downloads on my site similar to what happens here in the marketplace. Hello, I have Users living in different time zones. If I create a calendar event which is going to take place in Paris, France. I want to have set the event time to the time in France, until here there is no problem. BUT I would like people to see the time of the event in France, not to see the time related to where ever they happen to be at the moment they go onto the Forum.

I've looked and can't find anything in there, whilst there is nothing in the guides and documentation here. Also, searching the forums here shows people generally suggesting improvements/complaining about it, and I couldn't find anything in the market for it.
