Please don't take anything person but somethings that could be improved: 1) The Announcement Icon: Please get rid of the white background or make it a transparent, so its blends in with its blue background, in Firefox I can see the white and it looks a little funny. Same thing with the downloads icon. 2) When selecting a "which is this related to" I think it could be improved a little bit better or maybe sub options appear or something to better channel the ticket like: Overall Package (whatever the name is appears here) Tech Support: IP. I purchased IPB today and I have yet to be able to download the files, In the customer area it says that it has been paid. I see no reason why in todays world with everything automated that the purchaser has to wait to get something that they bought when it was a electronic purchase. When I purchased vBulletin I had the files as soon as I completed the transaction. So what gives? Tmod

Well, I check back infrequently, and I noticed IPS has released a new skin with 2.3.0, but when I checked out the GDK for the skin, it's still way behind what it should be. I would like to see the GDK for the editor images, as well as all those PNG images used in the dropdowns on the profile pages and in the show topic pages where the user dropdown is. (Also that online/offline indicator, star images for ratings, etc...). A good GDK consists of all the images used in the product, but IPS gives us a half-baked GDK that only allows us to freely modify the button graphics and folder graphics. :| What is going to be needed to get a GDK for those?

Blog spam is a real issue (see http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showtopic=231953 for other discussion on the topic). I have been relying on Akismet for ages with my WordPress blog and I have always been impressed with the quality of their spam filters. It would be really nice if it was possible to have an Akismet-based spam filter (to be activated as an option) for the IP.Board forums. It would remove 99.9% of the spam pain without annoying the users with endless CAPTCHA and e-mail registrations. Best regards, Joann

Hi i recently purchased over the weekend and paid for an ip board : basic forum for $30 and my purchases said that it was waiting for manual approvement. So i now find that it is not saying this anymore and is giving me the option to 'pay' again. Does this mean i wasn't approved? P.S. If so could this be because my father purchased this using his paypal account for me and put the forum under my name. We have the same last name. Paypal account says the transaction is complete. So why havent i been given access to the purchase?

IMO, the IPS website needs an update to include more information for customers. Both new customers and current customers. Here's a few suggestions: 1) The knowledgebase in the client center seems like a very useful tool. My suggestion here is that i think there should be a public knowledgebase that addresses the basic presales questions about each product. If there already is one, it's not something i could find easily. 2) I think either the Customer Support page or the main welcome page in the client center need to be redesigned to be more customer friendly. Basically use those pages to break down the support options. Tickets, Bug Tracker, IPS Beyond should all …

Ok this is bound to sound stupid but here goes... I've purchased my basic board and have accessed my control panel ect.. Hi, Im trying to install Invision Power Board. I try to log in using the hosting account information situated in the package information. But the login and password doesnt seem to be working, so i go to my tickets and suddenly a new ticket appears (titled 'Install Invision Power Board') reading: Please install Invision Power Board on my IPS Hosting account in this directory ect... Im just wondering if im suppose to do this or an invision staff member as the post is under my name :unsure: Thanks

today somehow I had 140 guests :S:S:S:S:S:S:S I clicked on the Show detailed by: Last Click and there were like 6 pages ...well okay 6 pages 140 guests .....but on each page there is like 2 members (currently logged in) and the bots.... I don't see no guests ....so how come I got 140 guests????? and it's I keep getting more n more guests :S 172 guests, 2 members, 0 anonymous members
