Make sure your FTP program doesn't glitch and stop transferring, misses uploading a file or for whatever reason has a brain fart. It has happened to me before and I never understood why so I sat there actively staring at the status bars for each file until the end and it worked. Some FTP programs are more volatile than others. Uploaded files and folders should already have the correct permissions assigned, so you wouldn't have to manually chmod them to anything else. Let us know how you go after uploading everything again.

Hi @Nik_V, There is a whole section about Announcements in the Help Guides. There is a gear to the right side of your announcements where you can edit or remove the announcement altogether as pictured below. Hope this helps answer your questions.

In addition, you can even approach IPS4 Providers that are listed right here on Invision Community to develop a new plugin. Unfortunately, as @Randy Calvert and @Jim M have mentioned, we do not provide support for any third-party plugins.

They are both great suggestions, thanks for sharing. If any more come about, please don’t hesitate to post them. I like seeing and reading about new ideas to improve the software, even if it only seems to be a minor change or improvement.

On first glance, it looks to be something related to the browser. I'll send this up to the devs to see whether it is something that needs looking into. I am using the latest version of Microsoft Edge and it takes me straight through to writing up the new topic in the Developer Connection forum. Thanks for letting us know, @The Old Man. I'll follow up with any findings.

Thanks for your suggestion, @Afrodude. I have forwarded this up to the devs for review. 🙂 Do you have any specific suggestions on how this can be improved to display better? My first thought was making the grey background behind the text transparent, however that may conflict with the cover photo some members may be using. I wouldn't mind the same sort of styling as the 'Follow member' and 'Message' boxes, but it will also look out of place perhaps?

As with all feature suggestions, the more detailed you can be the more we will pay attention to it to try and work out suitable alternatives or avenues moving forward. We always want the best for our clients so don't think that your suggestion is simply read and forgotten (that goes for everyone else posting their suggestions too, by the way). In saying that, the devs are definitely aware of this so hopefully in the future it may be something that is implemented. Obviously I cannot say when or how soon that will happen, but I believe using Stripe in the interim should give your members/subscribers a way to continue doing business on your community. All the best with it!

As above, the fix has been implemented. To continue running 4.7.4 Beta 1, you will need PHP 8. If you are able to revert back to your 4.7.3 installation, then that would be the best way forward if you wish to continue using PHP 7. Sorry if this is of any inconvenience to you, however PHP 8 will be the minimum version required for the November release onwards, as discussed here. I like what you've done with the icons, @SeNioR-. I am also a fan of Font Awesome icons. They are just so aesthetically pleasing. For those that want a replacement for the stock PNG sprites, I have discussed this with the devs and they are definitely aware of it. Without giving anyone empty promises, I would watch this space. 😉
