I've been experimenting with some options that should help improve the behavior in an upcoming release. 👍

Is there any way you can leave the theme selector in the footer available? Or the option to hide it or not?  I'd rather have both options.

You can use Cloudflare that will help a lot your forums as a CDN and has also some nice one click optimizations and they offer a free plan or you can use it only for the DNS records.
Dns records changes are getting active in seconds.

I notice that on the new version 4.5, email notifications are truncated.

I understand the excellent reason for this because rather than giving the full message on the email, it will bring people into the forum.

However, for busy site team members, it causes unnecessary work to have to open every email and then to visit the forum thread to see what is being discussed.

It would be very handy to be able to configure email notifications so that they are truncated for ordinary users and displayed in full for site team.

How about it?

Is IPB ready for php 7.4?  I thought a few things needed to be updated to utilize it correctly and was waiting for 4.5 before moving from 7.3.  If that is the case, maybe that has something to do with it?

I’ll make some tests and will update the resource, if necessary.
