  1. Jim M's post in Help me if you can was marked as the answer
I have removed the demo features so you should be good now. Please do not remove these items with CSS when asking for support as it will complicate and prolong the issue you're encountering.
Additionally, please see the email we sent you regarding the copyright/branding notice which is required.
  2. Jim M's post in Are photo/document uploads scanned for virus? was marked as the answer
This would not be in the software but a hosting support question.
  3. Jim M's post in PHP issue was marked as the answer
You ran the requirements checker on your PHP 7.4 which, as you stated, is working. You would need to run it on the PHP version you're attempting to upgrade to which is not working.
To fix the collation issue, you would need to run the converter as mentioned.
  4. Jim M's post in installation error was marked as the answer
As mentioned by Randy, you will want to ensure that the URL you are installing at is 100% what is on file down to HTTP/HTTPS and www/non-www.
When going to the URL we have on file, I am seeing an installed software so looks like you got this working but if you did not, please clarify.
  5. Jim M's post in pop UP APPEAR was marked as the answer
As mentioned by others in this topic, this looks to be the alert system (issued by your moderator) and a theme bug. You'll want to work with your theme's author to resolve the issue.

Glad to hear you found a possible solution on forums here. They are great resource to find out what other administrators are facing 🙂 .
For other user's reading this topic, this is an example topic:

  7. Jim M's post in HTTP to HTTPS license key issue reset didn't work was marked as the answer
Your license is indeed restricted to the URL, not the domain or sub-domain.
When switching from HTTP to HTTPS or www to non-www, you would just need to re-add your license key to the ACP -> System -> License Key. It does not require a full license URL reset.
However, in this instance, I have updated your license URL for you.
  8. Jim M's post in Have Invision subscriptions changed??? was marked as the answer
Please refresh your license key by going to ACP -> System -> License Key. There were some changes in our recent release and cause some inconsistencies. Apologizes for the inconvenience.
  9. Jim M's post in Activity Stream: Member configured default stream as homepage was marked as the answer
Unfortunately, only the All Activity Stream can be set as the "home page." Currently, this cannot be configured to anything else.
  10. Jim M's post in Run into an upgrade problem - forum down! was marked as the answer
You do not have the MySQLi PHP extension loaded which is required. You should contact your hosting provider or system administrator to ask for it to be installed.
  11. Jim M's post in Redirect to custom login page was marked as the answer
This is not something which we offer in the default software and usually is done by a custom SSO solution to complete that process.
  12. Jim M's post in question about product's initial price and renewal was marked as the answer
    That would be correct, yes.
  13. Jim M's post in 4.7 upgrade problem was marked as the answer
Please ensure your row format is dynamic for all tables. If you are unsure how to do this, please contact your hosting provider.
  14. Jim M's post in Registration on the site does not work was marked as the answer
Glad to hear it is working for you now.
  15. Jim M's post in No plugins listed on plugins page was marked as the answer
You’ll want to also check ACP > Systems > Applications.
  16. Jim M's post in Cancel an upgrade was marked as the answer
You will need to restore the files from a backup you took prior to starting the upgrade attempt. As the upgrader has not been ran, the database should be fine.
  17. Jim M's post in How to translate "terms & conditions" words? was marked as the answer
Can use the language system to change any string in the system:

  18. Jim M's post in Granting Badges more then Once was marked as the answer
A badge in the Achievements system can only be assigned once. If you would like to see this in a future release, I would recommend posting this in our Feature Suggestion forum. Otherwise, yes, this would require an add-on/customization to get what you are looking for here.
  19. Jim M's post in 4.7.0 Update Breaks Pages was marked as the answer
Sorry for the inconvenience. I have resync'd your license data in ACP -> System -> License Key. This should be resolved for you.
  20. Jim M's post in Change Licence URL was marked as the answer
You will need to remove the redirect from your current URL to your new URL in order to use the reset tool. This will only need to be done temporarily so our tool can see that our software is not present any longer at your current URL.
  21. Jim M's post in Marketplace not recognizing purchase was marked as the answer
Please ensure that you're logged into the same account which has purchased the add-on from our Marketplace and is authorized for your community/license.
  22. Jim M's post in Spam Defence was marked as the answer
Yes, the Spam Defense system should check social logins as well.
  23. Jim M's post in The app store often doesn't work was marked as the answer
You will need to reach out to your hosting provider then as it is having an issue communicating with the Marketplace server.
  24. Jim M's post in Alert for guests was marked as the answer
It is currently not available as it requires a member id currently to track if it's been viewed, among some other technical items. You can certainly add this to our Feature Suggestion if you wish to propose this for a future release.
With that said, you can have Announcements, Guest Privacy & TOS bar, and custom blocks tailored to guests if there is messaging you wish to get across.
  25. Jim M's post in Editing the footer notice 'I accept' was marked as the answer
Please check the "Guest Options" in ACP -> System -> Terms & Privacy Policy
