  1. Jim M's post in Reported Post Email Notifications Not Being Sent (To Some Mods) was marked as the answer
If they are appearing in the Email Error log, that would indicate an issue with connecting your SMTP server rather than the software. As you can see there is an error of 421 Service not available... That is coming from your SMTP server. Please reach out to your email provider for assistance.
  2. Jim M's post in Events app permissions was marked as the answer
Anyone can create events in the application. Please ensure that your member groups have proper permissions to do so.

  3. Jim M's post in Upgrade permissions issue? was marked as the answer
You will want to ensure that they are also the latest versions and unmodified. To confirm, you may wish to upload a fresh set of files from the Client Area and extract them to your computer. Once done, upload the contents of the "ips_****" folder to your server, overwriting what is there.
  4. Jim M's post in Change message for group not having access to the site was marked as the answer
If you disable access to your community for a group, as you've done here, this is effectively banning that group from your site as you are stating they shouldn't have access to your community. If you believe that this sends the wrong connotation for your users, you can change the message here for all groups/users who don't have access and would view this permission denied message (keep in mind this would be for this use case and actual banned members, etc...) by changing the language string.
To read more about changing language strings, please read:

  5. Jim M's post in Service Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance... was marked as the answer
Simply login to the client area and download a full package of software, much like you would if doing a fresh install, and unzip the archive to your computer. It will create a folder named "ips_xxxxx" where xxxxx is a random string of characters. Then use an FTP client such as Filezilla and upload the contents of the ips_xxxxx folder (not the folder itself) to your forum main directory, overwriting when prompted and making sure all files transfer without error.
These are just the core files which run the software, it will not impact your data.
  6. Jim M's post in Articles pages are not Responsive? was marked as the answer
    Yes.
  7. Jim M's post in "Send me news and updates" - Where to set up? was marked as the answer
The checkbox there is controlled in ACP -> Members -> Notifications -> Newsletter.
If you are looking how you initiate and send email to these users, this would be in ACP -> Members -> Bulk Mail.
  8. Jim M's post in How to update a member log in method from Facebook to Email was marked as the answer
They would simply need a password assigned to their account either by you doing this in the ACP or have them reset their password via your sign in page.
  9. Jim M's post in Real time "2 users here" yellow tag no longer displayed on forum pages? was marked as the answer
The Real Time Viewing/Who's Typing features are on our community here and available on the plan you're on. Please ensure that you have these enabled in your ACP and as you have a custom theme, you may wish to switch to an unmodified theme to see if that is impacting it.
  10. Jim M's post in What triggers the “Read More” page break in the page/articles? Is this a coded item or a setting? was marked as the answer
Unfortunately, you are utilizing some modified templates there for Pages so you would want to contact whoever modified those for you to get an answer for this subject.
  11. Jim M's post in Issue with the tags was marked as the answer
Unfortunately, it is still set to 1000 on the phpinfo. Upgrading PHP likely influenced this change from your last ticket and thus you would need to ensure this is properly set and PHP/your server is restart to take the new configuration value. If you are having issues, please contact your hosting provider.
  12. Jim M's post in Problem with API after upgrading to v4.7.5 was marked as the answer
As mentioned in the documentation the default number of records per page are 25, you can pass in your own parameter to change this but that is the default:

  13. Jim M's post in Revert menu was marked as the answer
Unfortunately, there is not a way to undo what you did here. The previous selection has been overwritten, just not published.
  14. Jim M's post in IPS Default theme blank after update to IPS 4.7.5 was marked as the answer
Your Google Analytics script had an open double quote so anything on the page for some reason there was getting hidden. I have emailed you the script as it contains some sensitive info. Please ensure that you copy these directly from their providers as it can create issues if you do not.
The particular Pages issue you mentioned in your quoted error has not been triggered since yesterday so that has been resolved with removing these customized Pages templates.
  15. Jim M's post in Unread content not picking up this years posts was marked as the answer
Unfortunately, it looks like the index stopped building. Could you please rebuild it by going to ACP -> System -> Search -> Rebuild Search Index.
  16. Jim M's post in Community not working after upgrading to PHP 8.x was marked as the answer
Something on your community is inserting a custom template called "row_adek" in Forums -> front -> global. This is causing your error and I have removed this from the "Default" theme and it is working now.
  17. Jim M's post in Xiaohongshu embedded was marked as the answer
This is not a valid embed at this time so you would need a customization to do so. You're more than welcome to post in our Feature Suggestion forum to suggest adding this though.
  18. Jim M's post in Change color blockquote? was marked as the answer
I would suggest using the "code" toolbar for posting items like this.
Quote, however, is part of the rich text process so while it won't do this permanently like for syntax highlighting, you can use the font color toolbar to change color.
  19. Jim M's post in Pages sidebar block layout templates? was marked as the answer
I'm afraid, there is no template feature as a part of Pages. They are each separate. Please feel free to suggest this in our Feature Suggestion forum for further evaluation, however.
  20. Jim M's post in Setting the forum login to email only lock me out was marked as the answer
This turned out being the issue. You had the Standard and Converter Login Handler set to 2 different values.
  21. Jim M's post in Following threads/sections and email notifications was marked as the answer
You can follow a forum to receive notifications when topics are posted. However, the follow system is explicit so you will need to follow each topic to receive notifications.
There is one exception to that, you can configure your notifications so that if you reply to a topic, you automatically follow it. As seen here in my notification settings:

  22. Jim M's post in Error when pasting Google Analytics code was marked as the answer
Sounds like mod_security or another security module was involved. Is that true?
  23. Jim M's post in Can’t Login After Update was marked as the answer
Please remove any server-based redirects of HTTP to HTTPS and ensure that you have setup our software to run over HTTPS:

  24. Jim M's post in Content Disappeared after dragging a forum to another container was marked as the answer
You will need to change the forum type from a category to a discussion (or question) forum type. Categories cannot have topics under them so will not display these.
  25. Jim M's post in Upgrade Failed was marked as the answer
Please be advised I have answered your support ticket and resolved this for you. Please ensure you submit any hosting concerns like this via your Cloud package as that has email support, for hosting reasons 🙂 . Whereas all other technical support will be done here, via our staffed community support forum.
