  1. I'd like.. * Favorite posts/Bookmarking posts (see my signature for link to it, this got a bit of support from other people) * ACP/Ban filters, the ban types separated into different tabs * ACP/Ban filters, ability to add multiple bans at the same time as well as have reasons added for bans * ACP/Ban filters, option (per ban) to use regular expressions instead of wildcarding * Built in drop-down-menu functionality for the primary navigation bar (for applications so it doesn't crowd the bar). * Not mark a thread as being read unless you have looked (at least navigated to) the last page of the topic. * Option to auto move members to a specified group if emails sent to them get bounced (due to account not being active/existing/etc) * Editable list of external resources to use for IP look-ups (like in the online list, see icons for DNS Stuff, for example, that you can click on at get info for that IP address). Configurable link and link to image/icon to use would be really nice, then the icons would appear for the admin to click on. * Per forum option to override a members "ModQ" setting, ie, for their posts to be immediately available even if that member is set to be ModQ'd. Perhaps directly as part of the option for members to only see their own threads, that way they could start a thread and instantly see it even if no one else can. * As discussed in another topic, tri level ModQ'ing. Off (posts instantly viewable except forums that ModQ all posts), On (all posts ModQ'd except forums that override this setting (see above request)), Self (can see their own posts even if those posts are ModQ'd). Should also be a per forum setting, where if any posts are ModQ'd, the members could still see their own posts so they could make edits to it if they want prior to approval.
  2. Could it at least be set up to match the browser and O.S.?
  3. Here you go... Report ID #17516: PM Popup scrolls too far
  4. I think this is already fixed or being addressed for 3.0.3, as someone reported it as a bug in the tracker.
  5. Of course for me, I dare someone to try to hack into http://n-raged.com/forums/admin/ since I doubt they'll gain anything from it.
  6. I tested it myself (IPB3 that is), from FF 3.0.13 to IE8. I don't like it, it's a security risk. I mean honestly, for me, it's not a big issue as it's unlikely to ever affect me. But for a business environment, where security is an extreme issue, this could be seen as a major red flag that needs to be plugged ASAP.
  7. Um, how about no. I would consider it a vulnerability because if you accidentally give the link to your admin session and it's still current, then someone could use it to make an account or change your password via the members tab.
  8. I'd report this in the bug tracker, I don't think you should be able to share the session without cookies corresponding to it.
  9. Yeah the feature was already there, just no setting was ever created for it. I noticed this when I was looking at the source to try to tinker with it.. :)
  10. Download and import this file into your settings area. The you can go to Settings > Forums > Topics, Posts and Polls And under "Making a Post", you'll find "Disable URL truncating?". Enjoy! settingGroup_topics-posts-and-polls.xml
  11. If you like the suggestion, click the (+) on the OP. With that as your avatar, maybe you should plead the fifth... :P

    Spam service

I see it like this... Standard license holders are paying $50 year for ongoing support AND for additional services Perpetual license holders are paying $30 year for ongoing support and $20 for additional services Lifetime license holders are paying $50 year for additional services and nothing else. If anything, the Perpetual holders should pay more (like $30/year for the service so $60/year total), and Lifetime paying $20/year, otherwise it's still like punishing a lifetime license holder by charging that much additional. In essence, Lifetime users are paying for "ongoing support" that is already included in the license. Sort of like paying for an extended warranty that is named "5 year extended warranty" but the 5 years is counted from the time of purchase, not from the end of the products warranty. (So if the product includes a 3 year warranty, you're only getting 2 extra years really, but that's beside the point) Don't accidentally delete this one Charles
  13. So then your topic should read "link truncating" not link "wrapping" :P I like this suggestion. Enable link truncating? ( )Yes ( )No Number of characters to keep? Left [__] and Right [__] Then it could add the numbers together along with 3 for a threshold point and then use those numbers for parsing.
  14. You need to fix your URL. It has this: http://twitter.com/mattmecham/statuses/3178228033

    Spam service

I'm not completely happy with the $50/year as a Lifetime license holder. From my perspective, it's like owning a Perpetual license now, because someone with a Perp license is only really paying $20/year for the service, where as I'd have to pay a whole $50. I think that the cost for the service should be the same (or nearly the same) between the two licenses.
  16. I thought it also allowed you to backtrack to who gave a rep.
  17. Try allowing that group to have PM access but set their maximum number of messages to 0 and see if that does what you want. Nevermind. I just checked, that would give them unlimited PM's.
  18. IP.Board_3_0_2_build_2009_0806_1637.zip Long name but would definitely work. A person would know if they already have the same version (if they go to save it into the same place).
  19. (+) I was wondering, would it be possible for people to sign up and get the discounted rate now, but not have the 'license' start until it's released (or possibly allow those who sign up to be able to participate in the RC series)?
  20. True but if someone decides to put it on their community and they have a large member base, they're likely to hear about problems that they can then report here, thus uncovering bugs faster.
  21. More like "hoped" for 3.0.3, it's not guaranteed. Want to make sure people don't turn into a lynch mob and visit Lynchburg, VA (how appropriate!) claiming that it was promised for 3.0.3 if it's not in there. I'd like to be able to download it separately to be able to test and report back on bugs to help it get fixed faster.
  22. They've acknowledged how they are approaching things. :)
