  1. Hello... Again. I'm slowly becoming a regular here... I'm trying to free up space in my IPS install folder by having Downloads Files, thumbnails and Gallery Images stored on a subdomain. When creating a new configuration and pointing the method to it, everything works and the images and files are being moved. The problem is that it breaks All images moved and they are not viewable on my site. Download Files works and can be downloaded but all the thumbnails are just blank. When downloading a image it still downloads from the original folder and not the one I set in Storage Settings, same with downloads thumbnails, they still point at the original upload folder and not the one I set in settings even though they are moved correctly.
  2. OK, so. Not sure if this have anything to do with each other but, if it does maybe it can help the team. I noticed that anytime I was kicked out, one of the groups loading animation circle wouldn't stop spinning. I deleted that group and now it seems to work. That same group also had disabled Group Promotions. So it seems like every time I went to the Member Group section it would try to load those promotions and fail somehow which would cause a glitch and kick me out. Like I said, don't know how it works but that is what I did to solve the issue, delete the group (I remember doing this the first time around as well when I mentioned in a comment that it worked). Maybe you can recreate the error. I'll let you know if problem comes back.
  3. Hello again. When I'm uploading big files, above circa 100 MB the progress bar is not moving but uploads succeeds after a while. If uploading several files at once the progress bars on the single files is not moving but the big overall progress bar is. Any thoughts on this?
  4. And this would explain why it Only happens on those specific parts of the software and no where else?
  5. Yeah, I updated to 4.6 before installing the plugin so IPS is kinda screwing me on that. Looking forward to a update xD
  6. @TAMAN Will we see a 4.6 update? Since IPS doesn't have any backward compatibility what so ever since they introduced the ACP Marketplace, making the user experience of getting new apps and plugins literally a hell, we are all kinda more or less relying on creators to update every single time a new version comes out. Can't even download 4.5 apps and plugins since they just refer to the ACP install method.
  7. No, I've tried turning that off. Which reminds me that I also have a problem with uploading big files even though IPS is using chunked upload. Unless they changed that.

  9. Nope, still having issues. Can anybody confirm (or unconfirm) that this might have anything to do with the new innodb databse requirements? I'm also having problems with big files giving me a -200 error. But if I'm not mistaken, IPS uses chunked file uploads?

  11. Gonna bump this thread because the problem I was having is back. Still being kicked out of ACP when I try to access Members Groups. I literally have to refresh the page before it stops loading and then manually stop the page from finishing loading. It only happens on the Members Groups page. I did manage to notice that in the adress bar when forced logged out it said "login&error=User madsen_sirmadsen already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections&ref=YXBwPWNvcmUmbW9kdWxlPW1lbWJlcnMmY29udHJvbGxlcj1ncm91cHM=" Any ideas? It Only happens when accessing Members Groups section and sometimes when using ACP search. I can still go to group settings using the workaround above.
  12. Solved it. For anyone else who might screw up their badges: Download the 4.6 IPS installation from your Client Area and unpack it. Go to your badges menu in your ACP. Click on Import and then import the badges.xml found in "yourfolder\applications\core\data\achievements". Make sure that "Remove existing unassigned badges" is set to Yes. Voila, badges restored and keep all other information like users earned etc.
  13. Is there anyway to restore or get the original badge icons? Somehow all my badges was duplicated and when deleting the duplicates all icons got deleted with them. I've managed to restore 12 so far but four are missing still. // Sirmadsen
  14. Hi! I have a few minor suggestions I think should be implemented, well, basically two features that would help a lot, not only for me I believe. 1a. Let's start with something I can't understand that isn't a feature yet. Custom formatting for Downloads Extra Fields. This would be highly useful for formatting different custom fields (which I use a lot of) and make them stand out. But the most important and the reason why I personally want this feature is to be able to output links (URL) as a proper link text. Say that there is another website that provide support for the download I offer and I want to direct users to that website. I would make a Extra Field, naming it "External Support" and then choose URL as Field Type. Easy pieacy. Well, if the URL to the external site is extremely long or just look bad with a lot of symbols and numbers, meh, not good. Imagine being able to then put in a custom formatting that would make the link go from "externalsite . com /thisisalooooongsupportlinkwithstrange-2321-%2211-numbersandstuff" to "Go Here"... Wow, mind blown. I mean, it can already be done in Profile fields as Custom profile formatting, so why not in downloads? Please, show Downloads app some love soon, some of us actually use at the main app. 1b. (Less important) Make it possible to choose several categories to add a download to, not just one. Or maybe after you've chose category, being able to choose secondary categories would be nice. 2. Simple feature suggest, please do something about the current Marketplace option where we can't download working plugins and themes unless they are updated to the installed exact IPS version. Running 4.6 completely lock me out from installing working 4.5 plugins and themes. Can't install them from ACP, can't download them from IPS... Not a great user experience.   15. Did a new upgrade and it all went fine this time. Raised some limits in my php options and all seems good now. Problem mentioned is working as well.

  17. But wait... It worked fine before upgrading. Just restored to the previous version and it's working again. Seems more like a DB och cookie issue. I will try and upgrade again and see what happens. Or did you mean the part during the upgrade?
  18. Hello! Since upgrading to 4.6 whenever I go to Admin CP > Members > Groups I get kicked out of the Admin CP. Any clues of why this could happen? I did get a database error during upgrade so restarted the upgrade and it went fine. Could this be the issue? And would a restoration of my backup just before upgrading and then upgrading again solve the issue? I did a manual upgrade since the 4.6 wasn't prompted automatically.
  19. That's not a very helpful answer. I'm having the same error @Marco Junior Compact mode is basically a less efficient format and can't store as much information as Dynamic. You can change this in your database settings (phpadmin for example) if your database supports it and depending if you are hosting the server yourself or if you are using a web-host which might not support it or only support in a higher tier payment (as in my case) . However since it's not a critical issue you don't have to worry about it unless you have a really big community.

  21. It have started messing with my template. If app is enabled, any extra fields I have set to be below the description is not visible (on any theme), but if I disable the app everything show as it should...

  23. Think I solved it. Basically add a member as admin and then give them only access to the support system. They still keep all permissions from their primary user group they have.
  24. So basically I can make a new user group called Support Staff and add members to that group and then also give those specific members restricted access to the Admin CP? Or do I have to give the member restricted admin access?
  25. So, I've looked here and I've been through all settings. Is there a way to add moderators to support requests? As it is now when I create a new department I can only add administrators to Staff Permissions... Or is there a work around like adding limited users to the Admin role (which I rather not do)?
