Seems to occur randomly. Sometimes I can sort and other times it gives the error.

I'm also getting error "3S101/B We could not locate the item you are trying to view." when trying to drag-sort added tags. It worked at first but then all of a sudden stopped working. To many tags for sorting to handle? Edit: Removed some tags and then I could sort them again. Seem like there are some conflict between to many tags and drag sorting.

Great application and thank you for continuing the work. Would it be possible to add a category function to the "Customize" option for sorting purposes?

Not sure if it's supposed to act like this but it shows files in subcategories. But, when going into a subcategory that has it's own subcategories it doesn't show those. This is working Browsing main category (shows) - Subcategory (Shows) - - Subcategory (Shows) This does not Main Category - Browsing subcategory (Shows) - - Subcatewgory (Does not show)

Awesome. I think from theme settings would be best. Pages would just be confusing for some i think. Better to have theme settings in one place. Either custom slides or pull from applications featured content works for me. Maybe both? PM sent.

Hi again. Would it be possible in a future update to add a slider? Maybe an option to have slider in place of header faces? Also, I'm not sure if it's bugs or just my site that wont work correctly but trending bar and footer are not showing. Theme colors are not changing on front page even if changed and saved in theme options.

Also wondering if there is a way to move the right author box below a record? It looks really weird with just one box and then the rest of the "sidebar" is empty. I would like a record to show full size without a "sidebar".

* Bump * My renew term is coming up and I need to know if the IPS team is even considering some of the changes mentioned in this thread. Don't want to be a crybaby but I'm experimenting with other software right now to achieve what I want. The most important features for me are A grid view. Ability to choose where to show extra fields. Would be nice to see "tags" added as a function to extra fields. More than one selectable category and that files parent categories show subcategories files as well. Also a lot of interesting stuff mentioned in the thread. Can any IPS team member give some feedback on this?

Hi. Is it possible to add downloads into a grid using this plugin? I'm so tired of the default downloads theme.

How's the update coming? Been broken for weeks now. Had to turn of the application from 4.3 release.

Agree with this. For now I'm using this plugin. It shows all files in subcategories when browsing main categories. It also lists all subcategories above the file list. However, Download app need am overhaul and options to show files in a better way. Especially now when pretty much the entire suit has been changed to support grid view.

Any cjance of this app adding support for chunked uploads or is that to difficult to implement in a app/plugin?

4 + 5 = This! It would be greatly appreciated. Regarding big uploads. There is a script called Veno File Manager that uses chunked file uploads: with the HTML5 file api that let's you bypass whatever limit is set by the php.ini. I've used this on shared hosting and could upload files that far exceeded the limit of the 128 MB set by the forced php.ini. Maybe this is an idea for a future update? Option to upload files above certain sizes as chunks.

Common IPS! The Download App need some love. It's basically been the same since I started using IPS, back when it was IPB. A few suggestions for you. 1) In pretty much every section across the board users can choose to show content in a grid or list. We need this for Downloads. The download section look horrible to be honest, outdated and dificult to see enough of what's new without having to scroll through an annoying horizontal list. Showing items in a grid is pretty much a standard across your differennt apps and the Download App needs the same functions to co-exist with the rest of the board. At least a widget where we can choose how to show the content. 2) With all the features in IPS 4.3, more specifically the subscription feature, I would love to see it tied in more to downloads. I'm thiunking about more restrictions like max file upload size. It would be great if we can have normal members only upload a file size of (for example) 1G at a time. Then you can subscribe and be moved to "Gold Member" where you can upload 2G file sizes, and then "Diamond Member" where you can upload 5G file sizes and so on. 3) Ability to choose where extra fields are shows. Sidebar, above or below the information box. Like I said, Downloads App have gotten NO love for years. And some of us use your software for for the Downloads. It's time to show it some love, don't let it fall behind. To be honest, the only reason I still use IPS as my software is because of the excellent Amazonn S3 integration. Like said above, it looks horrible, got next to no features or settings and is always left out when new updates and features are introduced.

Update for Dowloads Plus and IPS 4.3 coming? As it is now it breaks the entire files page. Edit- Never mind, didn't see your earlier answers about this. Eagerly waiting for 4.3 full release.

Awesome... Two more things... 1. Is it possible to add a custom permission denied message? 2. Is it possible to add a custom image to the popup when hovering a video? For example like featured image but for the popup?

Is there no way to choose which user groups can see widgets? For example I have a category that I don't want guests to see so I'm putting that category in it's own widget. But can't find anywhere in the widget settings to only allow admins and registered members to see it.

Does this prioritize YouTube thumbs or uploaded thumbs when adding videos from YouTube? What I mean is if adding a YouTube source video and then uploading a custom thumb, does it remove the custom thumb and then ads YouTube generated thumb instead...
