  1. Hi, With the new PII request option, I made one using my normal member test account. However since making it, Iā€™ve not received any notification about a member making a request, nothing has came through to either admin or member email address. If I go to the relevant section in AdminCP I do see an entry. How would I know to look if there is one? Is that correct? Many thanks
  2. Got it, thanks Stuart. Sorry they got you working on Gravy Day!
  3. Ah, right, thanks I didnā€™t realise that + button was for that, on my iPad at the moment. Where is the option to show a subscription when registering? (So a new member must purchase a subscription). I thought it was on the registration/log in AdminCP settings page. I saw the option for setting a product of a certain value must be purchased, but it says configure up via the products page, not subscriptions. Thanks.
  4. I was looking at the Subscriptions options in Commerce and noticed they seem to be incorrectly calculating renewals. E.g. Set up a subscription of $10 for 6 months with renewal the same price equating to $20 for a yearā€¦ So that should be $20 per year, but if you save and then click on the +Add Member optionā€¦ it shows renewals as going to be either free forever or free for the first 6 months and $10 the next 6 months ($10 a year). Also there is a typo, the number of months is displayed twice, but only if you select months, not yearsā€¦ Whether itā€™s messed up if you went live, I donā€™t know.
  5. We shouldnā€™t have to worry about testing updates first, thatā€™s why they have alpha, beta and release candidate versions. I canā€™t help but feel itā€™s more likely down to the ridiculous monthly update schedules, itā€™s a nightmare trying to keep up. It must also pressurise the whole system from security testing, QA, market place submissions.
  6. I just did my first live site, and the cookie option works but I noticed it doesn't tell you what the optional cookies are? This one doesn't have forums though, on my sites with forums I use CookieYes so not straight forward to test.
  7. No Stuart, I noticed that after updating it asked me to log in with my email address (as expected) the next time but that was all. Actually, upon checking, with these being my localdev sites, the cookie banner isn't set to show to guests.
  8. Yes, the forum display view. They seem okay in the other apps but on forums, the page reloads but nothing changes.
  9. Hi I just updated my local dev sites and noticed that whether using my own themes or the default IPS theme, none of the Table/Grid/Fluid display mode buttons are working. I cleared the cache and logged out and back in again, but still not working.
  10. Actually, it may be because I was not using categories originally for this particular DB.
  11. Aha, many thanks, that did the trick. I was using the Supergrid templates, I switched back to the standard default template and the options appeared as per your image.
  12. Thanks Jim, no categories unfortunately, so will delete the entire database. Seems odd but no biggie.
  13. Hi, I can't seem to locate the option to delete all articles/records from a Pages Database except for 1 at a time. I have a DB with over 400 records. Er, little help? šŸ˜ Many thanks!
  14. Latest version working great, Mr Explosion! Love the report facily and the way to apply it to previous reported content. New 'Add to Site's Ban Settings' feature is a great timesaver. Icing on the cake for convenience sake would be after reporting to AbuseIPDB to automatically do this for you but the tool is certainly much quicker than copying and pasting the IP and email address yourself as in the past.
  15. The search facility here doesn't appear to find any results in your documentation, even when narrowing the search down to documents or guides. Example: I'm currently playing with Zapier and using the option to post an image from an RSS feed in a Gallery album. It results in an error message: The app returned "1G316/6". Searching produced 0 results: So I thought I'd check out the out REST API docs and I found it in the error section: https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/rest-api?endpoint=gallery/images/POSTindex
  16. It seems not, the rules include options to do it... but according to the documentation, the new WAF's Bot Fight managed rules can no longer be overridden by rules, only by defining a WAF Exception. However, when you go to do it, it is restricted to Pro account holders. I tried making use of the rule setup in the screenshot but the connections are blocked. If I disable bot fight mode, it works.
  17. Great stuff, thanks Mr Explosion. šŸ’£
  18. Hi @Daniel F I had another go at this and the error I was getting before reoccurs connection failed with a 403 every time. Looking deeper it turned out to be Cloudflareā€™s WAF (free account) blocking it by issuing a Bot Fight mode managed challenge. Events Log: I set up a rule to allow the Zapier user-agent (not ideal) to skip which doesnā€™t seem to work although it it shows as working in the CF events log, but found Iā€™ve had to switch off Bot Fight Mode in order to get it working.
  19. Yes, thatā€™s what I was referring to Martin. šŸ™‚ TBH Iā€™ve posted about this before. We can create feeds from 3 different places in IPS (say a blog RSS feed enabled in a blogā€™s settings on the front end, a blog RSS feed via Activity Streams and a blog RSS feed from within AdminCP) and they give varying results, leading in turn to varying levels of interoperability depending upon our needs. Some include images in a container, others donā€™t, but for my need today (quickly importing demo content into several localdev instances) I wondered if the supplied block of solid text was intended, an oversight or a bug.
  20. Hi, Appreciate your thoughts. 24 years ago maybe, one could say the same about plain text email; specs and usage change. On the modern web with variations like media rss, a RSS 2.x feed without any HTML formatting is as much use as a handbrake on a canoe. The RSS feeds created on the front end Blogs have HTML, although they lack nodes for featured images.
  21. I was wondering if this is actually a bug? If you create an RSS feed in the AdminCP for Blogs, the resulting feed lacks any HTML formatting compared to normal front-end feeds. This means anyone attempting to import or read the feed gets a solid block of text.
  22. Aside from insomnia, it's the only time I can get some peace and quiet! šŸ¤
