    Sounds like a great idea to me to ecourage positive posting. The only issue I can see is when members don't reward good posts, like in this topic for example. Although you have had 3 replies so far including mine, nobody had given positive rep for your suggestion except for me.

    Just to confirm that you do need an active support contract to access restricted areas. https://www.invisionpower.com/index.php?appcomponent=core&module=customer_area&section=kb&do=viewarticle&id=385 I don't know if the 3.0.0 GDK will be available in the client area and will leave that to a member of staff to let you know :)

    As far as I am aware you still have to renew your support with a perpetual licence to get access to customer forums. I am sure a member of staff will confirm this for you Maybe the 3.0 GDK will get posted in the client area :D

    You need to be an active customer to download it. You need to use the same e-mail address in the client center and on these forums. If you have then log out of the forums and then back in.

    It's always nice to hear positve feedback as most people only post when they are unhappy with something. Thankfully a lot do post positive feedback at IPS

    I have always though members creating their own custom forum view would be a great addition I remember this being asked many times before. Maybe there isn't the demand for it or it would add to many resources

    Yes when I had hosting in the past (don't have a public website or forum now) I found IPS hosting to be very good, reliable and fast with great service and support and wouldn't hesitate to recommend

    We already have Group Promotion, so group demotion based on negative reputation would be a great addition Come to think of it, it would be good to have group promotion on positive rep too

    It used to be included but I guess IPS decided against it for some reason

    Shame it wasn't released in the download, unless it get's released when the competition winner is decided
