  1. Any way to just move member title under the username @Matt, I can do it your way but it takes Location with it which clearly isn't needed that high up.
  2. Surely there has to be a way to move just the member title, but leave the other profile fields (Location in my case) where they are
  3. I appreciate the guide and that means I can get it back under the username by placing it under <ul class='cAuthorPane_info ipsList_reset'> but because I show Location as well, it's moving that with it to a place I don't want it to show. I still think more options on the ranks would be best all round, with a few minor changes it could work like the old system did. You only need to make it so the title can be editable, and a choice to show the rank image or rank text on topics then they'd be no need for the old member title being retained.
  4. I know that's a workaround but it doesn't appear where I want it and just looks wrong below the post count, also its pointless as the whole idea of the Member Title was for it to work as the ranks do now and then eventually, edit the title themselves once they've reached the top rank. I can't believe anyone who liked the member title feature would be happy with the above. The ideal situation is to merge the original member title and ranks together, so that the rank title is editable once they've reached top rank / or admin can decide which rank title is editable. I can't be the only one who doesn't want the rank images to show on every users photo, but does want to make use of the rank system to keep the rank title progression displaying below username.
  5. I'm aware of that @Dean but there is still no solution, member titles are not working as they did previously, they don't display under the username or change after a certain post count as far as I'm aware.
  6. @Matt @Charles, this is the only thing that's stopping me upgrading. I like the new ranks system but it should have been merged properly with old member titles, just by simply allowing the title to be edited and having an alternative way to display it as text under the username. I think you overlooked how good a feature it was. lots of my members will miss having their own custom titles.
  7. Make it possible to turn off the rank icon on photos and display the text from the new rank system instead so it can show under the username on desktop/tablet as it used to. Also make it possible to allow user to edit their rank title once they’ve reached the top rank, or by allowing us to set which rank is editable.
  8. Has anyone managed to get member title back under the username?
  9. I'm getting alot of spam through this and support haven't got a solution. I'm getting around 10 bounced emails a day on average which is harming my reputation on Amazon SES, all the email addresses are gmail and similar each time just with dots scattered around meaning the email address is different each time, but all not genuine. It seems anyone can enter any old email address into here and emails are being sent out regardless. My spam logs are noticing the emails as a '4' so I would suggest the emails not be sent out in this case or at least use some form of capacha on it if not that.
  10. Does this work? I've not upgraded but I've been using this on all 4.x versions so far .ipsResponsive_pull .ipsDataList .ipsDataItem:not( .ipsDataItem_selected ):not( .ipsModerated ):not( .ipsDataItem_new ):not( .ipsDataItem_success ):not( .ipsDataItem_warning ):not( .ipsDataItem_error ):not( .ipsDataItem_info ):not( .ipsDataItem_status ):nth-child(even) { background: #fafafa; } .ipsResponsive_pull .ipsDataList .ipsDataItem:not( .ipsDataItem_selected ):not( .ipsModerated ):not( .ipsDataItem_new ):not( .ipsDataItem_success ):not( .ipsDataItem_warning ):not( .ipsDataItem_error ):not( .ipsDataItem_info ):not( .ipsDataItem_status ):nth-child(even) { background: #fafafa; }
  11. I'd want it to show under the username / above the photo. I don't want it below the photo.
  12. It's not been updated in a while but it still works
  13. I like the addition of achievements but I don't like the placement of the badges in the topics on the avatars. They are designed well but I'm not sure they are needed in some cases (on a busy site for instance, it would get annoying). For many years I requested the online status to show next to username or on the photos as I have it as have always had to use a mod to achieve that, yet now it's deemed fine to have these big bulky icons which I'd say takes eyes away from the content a fair bit more than an online status ever did. Currently you've got these icons in topics, hovercard, profile and dropdown menu. I think it would be better all round if they didn't appear in topics as well the rest or at least have that option. I also think the original central placement of the new member / moderator icon on profile photos in topics was better than it is now at opposite ends. I'm guessing these are hard to alter too.
  14. It's better than nothing, but unless I'm mistaken we can't set it to be changed depending on post count anymore.
  15. A large % are mobile users how do they find out?
  16. Why has everything ended up shortform? topics on board index fair enough, but posts/reputation, not sure they really need to be shortform. Users like to see there true amount.
  17. @Matt because @Fast Lane!'s didn't work
  18. That just further highlights how wrong the change is
  19. It would make it pointless if you have to hover over the icon to see the title, what makes it personal was the ability to have it under their display name so it was easy to notice. Having to hover over the icon is just hidden from view.
  20. I understand doing this on the board index but not for members posts in topics. 2.7k, 4.8k etc. It should stay as the long number in this case as some like to see how far they are off a certain milestone. Reputation also removed from showing in topics which I'm not that fussed about but it's harder now to find out someones reputation, as the big block on profile that used to be on the left is also not there.
  21. All the current ranks will be removed though, I have a good few 1000 of custom titles already assigned in profiles. Also won't be possible to set a post count required to change it.
  22. Why has it been removed @Matt?
  23. New ranks and achievements is good but the ability to edit Member title and have it below your username needs to stay.
  24. I hope not. If it has you'd be surprised how popular it is to set your own personal message below your username, instead of whatever the forum decides. It needs to stay.
