Its good apart from removing reply to this topic and start new topic. Also its still not as good as 4.4, too many white background separators

I only have a test site set up, comparing both defaults from 4.4 to 4.5 are completely different. The 4.4 default is the same as its been for years, 4.5 is different

There are options for Default and Inter though. Inter is different to Default. Default is not the same as the Default was on previous versions

Will I need to run this or are you planning for the setting in admin cp have the same effect? -
@bfarberwhy doesn't this affect existing members? Any way of a query to achieve this if it can't be included in the upgrade process?

It's defaulting to this, for all members. So every member has to go into this area and physically change it to get it to work how I've had it working for years. I want it to default to Take me to comments I haven't read for all members

Can I set this as take me to comments I haven't read by default? I don't want open normally as default, since I've used a hook for the past 4 years to go to latest comment. Otherwise I've got to ask 1000's of members to physically go into their settings to change it.

What does the 18px mean if it has 12px in brackets? The previously version I gave is top and bottom 13px and left and right 10px, but how does the new version work?

I've reduced .ipsDataItem on previous versions as its been far too big on mobile. I did it by doing this .ipsDataItem { padding: 13px 10px 13px 10px; } I noticed on 4.5 I can't do this anymore, but now as the spacing is way too big on desktop as well now I will need to do the same. How do I do it? I assume its the padding in this, but what does the var var(--sp-3); mean. The previous code above made much more sense .ipsDataItem_main, .ipsDataItem_stats, .ipsDataItem_lastPoster, .ipsDataItem_generic, .ipsDataItem_modCheck, .ipsDataItem_icon { display: table-cell; padding: 18px var(--sp-3); vertical-align: middle; }

The title should stay where it is and not be a part of the first post, just look as it did before 4.5. They're not going to change it back though.

I noticed this is being brought up a lot since 4.5 and its all because of that white background. It was never a problem when that info wasn't in a white box, and in my opinion looked much better previously. No need for the title area to be bigger and taking up more space than before. Previously it was just the title, then the creator and date on one line below it. Now we've got the title, a divider line and two lines for the creator and date and with a white background to highlight it further.

Can anyone recreate this? I don't like how the cart is hidden in the menu, make its less obvious to checkout. I don't know if it works or not, as I don't have commerce yet to test it on. But it says not updated for 4.3 so guessing not.

I've noticed the individual forum icons for mark as read don't appear to be ajax now?

Oh ok, I remember now. I wanted the site name meta tag to be on every page as it was missing in source, I thought it would help google. Does it not? For @hterrag instead of doing what I said, put / in page address then just edit the Page Title
