  1. @Adriano F is it possible to include this contacting staff via the messaging system as well as sending out emails? It would be great to have a notification appear whilst actually on the site, without having to check emails.

  2. Hi @Adriano Faria I purchased and installed this today, I seem to have an issue with submitting form. Any suggestions?

Fatal error: Cannot access protected property IPS\Email\Outgoing\Php::$useWrapper in /home/user/public_html/applications/cjcontact/sources/Contact/Contact.php on line 89

    Line 89

            $this->emailClass->useWrapper = false;

  3. Some feedback, I'm currently changing some permissions to allow certain groups to be allowed to award medals.

However, each medal needs to be changed manually for permissions, can you introduce something that changes sub categories for example if the main category has been changed? It would save a hell of a lot of time and effort to change permissions.

  4. @-RAW- Can you include the ability to remove awards from the from end, for example some awards can be automated to remove awards but some that we are doing cannot but they need to be removed in the same way (tiered format) - a certain group as the ability to add but do not have the ability to remove (no ACP access).

  5. I've got several test accounts, that's not the point - it was available to do and now it's not.

It should be a permission setting - group can award themselves, so if we decided, admins and mods can award themselves. I understand the potential for abuse but no abuse will be encountered if set correctly.

  6. Just encountered this error, which hadn't occurred on previous versions - it seems I can no longer award myself, which makes testing rules automation awards a lot harder now. This needs to be changed so that if we decide to award ourselves, that this can be done without being told we can't.

  7. @Kevin Carwile @-RAW- I probably should post this in the rules app but as it's related to the iawards specific rules set, I think it's better suited here for others to comment upon also.

I was also mentioned to me by @Jimmy Gavekort

Auto awarding is working great but if I set up a rule as follows, it will supply the member the award that was removed upon next action (i.e. they make a post).

if member has 50 posts, check if they have medal 1, if not, supply medal 1

If member has 100 posts, check if they have medal 2, if not supply medal 2, remove medal 1. Which is how it works just now, how does it know not supply medal 1 again though? As far as I can tell it doesn't and it will supply medal one upon the next action as they don't have the medal but rules thinks they should.

I think it needs an additional action condition to check if they have medal 2 and if yes not to supply medal 1. It's either that this functionality has been overlooked by myself and I can't find it, or it's missing and it will continue to occur until that additional check is added?

Double posts caused by cloudfront, seems IPS are having an issue with them at the moment.

another issue I'm having is I just purchased the iAwards plugin and I'm using your example XML to add an award based on if a user got 100 rep points.. It works fine if they do that, but the people that already have WAY past 100 rep point it doesn't give them the award... ?

It needs to recount, as I understand it. It does not issue awards for existing members with reputation points until they next log in and perform an action (the action being logging in).

Ideally, I want to be able to automate awards to all members, which sends an inline notification and email to the member. Prompting those that haven't visited for a while to pop back and say hello.

  10. Quick question for @Kevin Carwile - if I setup a rule that awards say a donor medal to a member, does it check the primary group only or does it also check secondary groups? I've removed the medal for myself for donating, logged out and back in but no award. My primary group is admin and secondary group I have multiple selected.

show us your awards guys. See some good results :)

Here's a list of the awards that we offer, both site and game related. My aim is to automate all the site achievement and prestige medals, most are all automated at the moment  using "Rules" (need to check these work as intended though).

@craigf136 and @Jimmy Gavekort I believe that would be more for us and the iAwards app. We can certainly work to do that in a future release.

Not so sure if it is, this option is within "The Rules" app itself rather within iAwards - I know you worked closely with Kevin but not sure how far the integration goes.

  14. @Kevin Carwile - can you add into the Rules app, the option to remove an award as an action for iAwards? We currently only have the option to add, however, if a user is on tier 1 of post count for example and they have now reached tier 2. We would remove the tier 1 medal and replace with tier 2 (it would need to check that the member has the medal before removing it obviously).

  15. @Kevin Carwile Your rules application is the bomb, I really love how "simple" it is in terms of what it does and the power behind it but I'm probably going to need a little bit of "training" on that.

One of the rules I'm trying to do just now, is auto award based on members who have been registered fo 1, 2, 3, 4 + years but for it to check if the member already has the award (so they don't get it twice) and then if the member is has been registered for 2 years for example, then the 1 year medal is automated in remeoval and the 2 year medal supplied and so forth.

Is this possible within rules? I've got a stack of awards that I want to automate lol

  16. Can't believe I missed this @Raw but when awarding a medal from the front end, the ability to remove one should be available also. I'm going to automate this process but it would be useful, as certain medals are removed when the next tier of the medal is achieved.
