Posted December 2, 20231 yr This may be a browser issue but I have agreed to this many many times here and on my site. What causes it to constantly request permission?
December 3, 20231 yr What browser are you using? If you're using Google Chrome, click the padlock in the URL field, and make sure Notifications are enabled? Or go to Google Chrome > Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Permissions > Notifications, and make sure Invision Community is allowed to send notifications?
December 4, 20231 yr It would only request if thats not already set in the browser, so it would indeed be a browser issue there. You're not browsing in private mode at all are you?
December 4, 20231 yr Author I have checked my notifications at the system level and both my site and here are set to allow. On two different computers and my iPhone. It's not often that it happens it's just perplexing why I get shown the notification the browser/os never presents the question because I've already told it to allow.

December 4, 20231 yr If you can find a way to replicate this elsewhere, we can of course take a look, but I know on the ticket above none of us were able to replicate the problem
