Why? because forum platforms are moving to the direction of death. This way we can keep a sync between what is in forums and Discord (that is currently on top). Whatever asked in Discord, stays in forum as content easy searchable for new comers.. and vice-versa. However, if posted in Discord only it becomes useless as nobody searches past history if Discord.
