Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
beardsleydee@gmail.com Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Running the update this morning and the process got stuck due to Sucuri Firewall. I've contacted Sucuri, but in the meantime how do I abort the update so that members can have acess to the site while Sucuri fixes issue.
Mark H Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 There is no way to abort an upgrade once it has started, unfortunately. You would have to restore the backup you made before the upgrade. If that is not possible then you'll have to wait for your host to fix the issue with Sucuri. SeNioR- 1
beardsleydee@gmail.com Posted December 8, 2022 Author Posted December 8, 2022 Sucuri needs to whitelist Invision's IP Address for the update to make it through the firewall. Can you provide?
Randy Calvert Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 Invision does not have static IP addresses. They need to allow any traffic to/from remoteservices.invisionpower.com. SeNioR- 1
Marc Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 As mentioned above, the IPs are not static. You should be whitelisting the above mentioned address. Ideally, just *.invisionpower.com and *.invisioncommunity.com would ensure you dont have any issues in the future
