Posted August 5, 20222 yr Currently, setting a topic to be published in the future has no effect on the topic's actual start date. On a busy board, a topic set to be published in the future will quickly down the topic list, and eventually on to page 2 and so on - adding a reply to the topic will be required to bump it in to view. oh, scratch that...is there a follow-up task that runs that forces this? Been testing on my test site, and looks like a 5-minute delay between publishing happening, and then the topic 'bumping' *stand down* Edited August 5, 20222 yr by Nathan Explosion
August 5, 20222 yr Yes, publishing is done by a system task that runs periodically. (It's either 5 or 10 minutes.)
