Alerts fail to display if End Date is set

My mod team reports alerts are not being seen if an end date is set, even if the end date is in the future. Changing the end date to None allows the alert to display correctly.

This issue has been confirmed, and reported as a bug to be fixed in a future release.

I should note.... when I tested this, I noticed the behavior you describe does not happen if you send an Alert to an individual member; it only happens if you choose to send the Alert to one or more Groups.

It doesn't work for me whether I set and end date or not.

I would also like to as why when you select groups Guests are not included

What version are you using? A fix was made of this issue for 4.7.0 Beta 9.

Have just read in an earlier thread that it doesn't show to the author.

Having this issue too. Would also be handy if we could get a test alert button so we can see what the alert looks like before making it active. 🙂

A quick followup for those watching... this issue was identified, and will be fixed in an upcoming release (and should be included in the next beta release).

This has now been resolved in the latest release (4.7.2). Please update to this version to resolve the problem. If you are still experiencing the issue after upgrade, please let us know.
